They laughed &#8211; If we wanted a really short house!\u00a0 Our people love to laugh and joke.\u00a0 They then told us our walls were just barely taller than when we were in the village last.<\/p>\n<p>So, we continued on not knowing why the people hadn&#8217;t worked on our house much.\u00a0 We soon found out.\u00a0 As soon as we got to the village, one of the building team came over to show my partner Dan the house.\u00a0 With all the rain we have received in the area, part of the foundation caved in causing a wall to fall.\u00a0 In another part, a small wall had completely fallen over and another wall was leaning.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_554\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-554\" style=\"width: 448px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/files\/2010\/03\/Las-Moras-Feb-2010-251-low-res.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-554\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/files\/2010\/03\/Las-Moras-Feb-2010-251-low-res.jpg\" alt=\"Wall between my office and living area -
