{"id":768,"date":"2011-02-18T02:32:32","date_gmt":"2011-02-18T07:32:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/?p=768"},"modified":"2011-02-02T15:32:59","modified_gmt":"2011-02-02T20:32:59","slug":"my-tupperware-lady","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/2011\/02\/18\/my-tupperware-lady\/","title":{"rendered":"My Tupperware lady!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are several trucks that make it to our village periodically selling fresh produce among other things.<\/p>\n<p>The first time they came by our house after the rainy season, we had gone a long time without fresh fruit, fresh veggies, and eggs.\u00a0 We stocked up on tomatoes, oranges, bananas, cucumbers, carrots!\u00a0 It was great!<\/p>\n<p>They had come directly from the coast and had a cooler.\u00a0 We bought some yogurt and some sour cream.\u00a0 And, we found out they had COLD COKES!!\u00a0 We each bought one and popped them open right away.<\/p>\n<p>We chatted with the vendors, beginning to get to know them.\u00a0 All of a sudden, the lady asks&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Do you want to buy some Tupperware?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I said, &#8220;What?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She said, &#8220;They&#8217;re plastic containers that are really good quality and seal well.\u00a0 They are a bit more expensive, but they are so good that is what I use now.\u00a0 And, I have some to sell.\u00a0 Do you want to buy some?<\/p>\n<p>I said, &#8220;I know what Tupperware is.\u00a0 My mom has used it ever since I was little.\u00a0 I was just surprised to find it for sale out here in the mountains!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We looked at her supply and bought one that fit our storage needs!<\/p>\n<p>Who would have though!?!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<figure id=\"attachment_811\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-811\" style=\"width: 512px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/files\/2011\/02\/October-2010-196.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-811 \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/files\/2011\/02\/October-2010-196.jpg\" alt=\"My Tupperware lady and me\" width=\"512\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/files\/2011\/02\/October-2010-196.jpg 640w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/files\/2011\/02\/October-2010-196-150x97.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rachel-chapman\/files\/2011\/02\/October-2010-196-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-811\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">My Tupperware lady and me<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are several trucks that make it to our village periodically selling fresh produce among other things.
