About 2500 entire language groups have no way to hear the Good News about what Jesus has done for them.<\/p>\n
What will happen to them?<\/strong> What hope is there?<\/strong> How will they hear about Jesus?<\/strong> Where do missionaries come from?<\/strong> Where would you find such a person?<\/strong> Who might be willing to go?<\/strong> Why aren\u2019t more Christians involved in planting churches among remote tribes?<\/strong> How could we get more Christians involved in reaching unreached tribes? <\/strong> Representatives do some of these things\u00a0as a full time ministry; drawing on their experience to impart vision to others.<\/p>\n Who could go to where Christians gather to find people\u00a0to send as missionaries?<\/strong> Do you know someone who is asking about working with unreached people groups? We would love to meet them!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\nThey will perish into an eternity of separation.<\/p>\n
\nJesus has already paid the price for their sins and rose from the dead to clothe them in His own perfect righteousness. What generous grace and lavish love! If they believe in Him they will have everlasting life.<\/p>\n
\nSome Christians somewhere will have to send someone who is willing to do what it takes to tell them. A missionary: a person who is on a mission.<\/p>\n
\nMissionaries are just ordinary Christians who, by faith, set aside earthly values to adopt eternal values for their earthly lives. We are all called to deny ourselves and take up our cross daily to follow Christ so that other people may know Him.<\/p>\n
\nWe would go to where Christians normally gather to give testimony of what God is doing, to ask relevants\u00a0questions, to share God’s word and to present opportunities for action.<\/p>\n
\nMost likely it is someone who is already heavily involved in their church, who is maturing in faith or is training to serve in full time ministry somewhere. Sometimes they are new believers who are just willing to devote themselves to learning and discipleship through Bible Institute training.<\/p>\n
\nIt is possible that many just don\u2019t realize\u00a0that 2 billion people don\u2019t know about Jesus. It may be easier to get involved with\u00a0ministries which we\u00a0have already seen in action. It is\u00a0natural to avoid the unknown. Another possibility is that some\u00a0just have not been shown the importance of this work in God’s plan for them as revealed in the Bible.<\/p>\n
\nWe\u00a0could tell\u00a0Christians who do not know already that there are tribes of people who have no access to the Gospel. We could show people, from God\u2019s Word, why that is important for their own lives and ministries. We could show them God’s love for people who do not yet know Him. We could show them His written plan for reaching unreached tribes with the Good News. We could show them the letters from tribes of people who are asking for missionaries. We could ask who is willing to tell these tribes about Jesus. We could invite them to attend a program like Wayumi<\/a>. We could show them the different roles<\/a> in which they might have a part in the church planting team. We could\u00a0invite them to get the training<\/a> they need to join us in the work. We could ask them\u00a0to go tell the Christians about the untold millions.<\/p>\n
\nAll of our missionaries have a part in sharing the work of New Tribes Mission. You may have noticed that our missionaries are on the road a lot. Our Representatives devote their lives\u00a0to this ministry. Their past experience of walking with God by faith, serving on the mission field and encouraging others to do likewise are a vital part of reaching unreached tribes. This is our ministry at the moment. We feel that we have an important part in\u00a0sending help to our coworkers on the field and in expanding ministry among tribes of people who may have no other hope of hearing about Jesus in our lifetime.<\/p>\n\n
