class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Brad, Shilo,\u00a0Gabriel, and Samuel\u00a0Cain arrived the middle of June and have had a whirlwind month of orientation and introduction to Paraguay, its culture, and people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">They were limited to a month, as Brad will start teaching at the NTM MK school in another part of\u00a0the country, starting\u00a0the middle of August, and they still need to set up their house. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">During the month things started out by being met on arrival by the pastor of the Cain\u2019s <em>Host Church<\/em> here, Carlos,\u00a0and his wife, as well as by Gustavo, the husband in the <em>Host Family<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"><strong><em><!--more--><\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">As we are looking at working more closely with the local church and Christian community here, we are working with local churches to take on the ministry of being <em>Host Churches<\/em> for new missionaries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">The <em>Host<\/em><em> Church<\/em> then picks a\u00a0<em>Host Family<\/em> from within the church.\u00a0 This family is entrusted with more responsibility\u00a0in helping the new family as they adjust to life in Paraguay. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/randy-steel\/files\/2009\/07\/1192_59308.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-101\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/randy-steel\/files\/2009\/07\/1192_59308.jpg\" alt=\"Carlos, Shilo, and Brad\" width=\"202\" height=\"151\" (max-width: 202px) 100vw, 202px\" \/><\/a>Pastor Carlos and Esmeralda, Pastor Kike, and Gustavo and Cintia invested quite a bit of time over the month in getting together to share and talk about Paraguayan culture and history, trips to see local points of interest culturally and historically, etc.\u00a0 They were a huge blessing and help.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">As a \u00a0<em>Host Family<\/em>,\u00a0Gustavo and Cintia were a fantastic, teaching the Cains how to prepare Paraguayan foods, visiting, answering questions, etc. Cintia got pretty sick with the flu for about a week, and others from the church willingly stepped in to help the Cains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Thanks for praying for my preparations for this, and for praying for the Cains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 6pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Pray for Brad, Shilo, and their kids as they get settled in near the MK school, prepare for their ministries, and
