{"id":598,"date":"2011-03-19T22:00:28","date_gmt":"2011-03-20T02:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/randy-steel\/?p=598"},"modified":"2011-11-21T23:43:45","modified_gmt":"2011-11-22T03:43:45","slug":"praise-and-prayer-march-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/randy-steel\/2011\/03\/19\/praise-and-prayer-march-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Praise and Prayer &#8211; March 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #006400\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Here are our items for Praise and Prayer for March 2011<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #006400\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"..\/files\/2011\/03\/Randy-Laurie-small-Jun-2010.jpg\" alt=\"Randy, Laurie- small - Jun 2010\" width=\"158\" height=\"114\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #006400\"><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #006400\"><strong>Items for  Praise:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #006600\">Those who so faithfully and  graciously stand with us in praying for and supporting our  ministries<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> in  Para<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">guay.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <\/span><span style=\"color: #006400\">pastors and members of the Host Churches <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">that are partnering with us in  helping new missionaries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <\/span><span style=\"color: #006400\">trip to the Ach\u00e9 colony for their church  dedication.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #0000cd\"><strong>Items for Prayer:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">For Randy\u2019s, Ithie\u2019s, and Luciane\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">ministry of teaching, guiding,  and helping new missionaries.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> We  have <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\"><em>fourteen<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">, at the moment and more on the way.\u00a0 :- )<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">For Randy\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">diabetes control<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> and use of his insulin pump.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\"><em>Wisdom in use of  time<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 to understand moment  by moment what the Lord wants us to do, and what <em>NOT <\/em>to do. Our  Asunci\u00f3n team is short handed and things are VERY busy. It has been hard to keep  up with correspondence and keep people regularly informed about our ministries  here, and all that the Lord is doing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">Laurie &#8211; her ministry as the  president of the school board <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">at  the Christian school many of our kids attend. They are looking for a General  Director and teachers for the 2011-2012 school year starting in August.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">Laurie &#8211; ministry taking care of  our NTM Guest House<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">Laura <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 as she finishes up her last semester at school. \u00a0She  is planning on staying with us in Paraguay for a year after graduating.\u00a0 Pray  she can find a job.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">Ryan <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 continued growth and wisdom as he walks with the  Lord, safety as he drives a propane truck, studies at the Univ. of Wisconsin,  Waukesha, and is involved in his church.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">Derek <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2013 as he works at Camp Redcloud in Colorado and looks  to the Lord for future plans.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2022 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\"><em>Ongoing<\/em>:<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"> We haven&#8217;t heard any more about what will happen with  the fellow that is trying to sue us for the motorcycle accident from a  year-and-a-half ago. Randy was found to be not at fault, but now <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000cd\">we need the municipality to rule that the  motorcycle driver was at fault<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">.
