It isn&#8217;t too hot yet, but we know it won&#8217;t be long in coming.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Laurie <\/strong><\/span>continues to serve as the NTM Paraguay representative on the  Asuncion Christian Academy School board.\u00a0 She&#8217;s keep busy with responsibilities  as the board chairman and also picking up the slack in areas normally covered  by a General Director.\u00a0 ACA is still without a General Director and it is an  extremely important prayer need.\u00a0 We&#8217;re earnestly praying for a godly  qualified individual to be able to minister as General Director by the spring  semester or at the latest, in time for the fall semester next year. If you know  anyone that might be interested in the position, have them contact Laurie at <a title=\"mailto:mydoglady2@gmail.com?subject=ACA%20General%20Director%20position\" href=\"mailto:mydoglady2@gmail.com?subject=ACA%20General%20Director%20position\">mydoglady2@gmail.com<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>Be praying for Laurie.\u00a0 It is a heavy, but important weight she&#8217;s  carrying right now.\u00a0 She is also continuing with other responsibilities with the  mission guest house and getting menus and food lists prepped for our yearly  field conference.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Laura <\/strong><\/span>is enjoying working at a  veterinary clinic not far from our house.\u00a0 She really enjoys animals and takes  care of the receipts and record keeping for the clinic, as well as help some  with the animals as needed.\u00a0 It has been a good opportunity for her as she is  learning what it means to have a job, handle her own money, buy clothes and  other items, etc, and she loves it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Ryan <\/strong><\/span>is finishing up some training and then returning to Wisconsin in a few weeks. Upon his return to Wisconsin he plans to get back into his studies at the University of Wisconsin  after the first of the year.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Derek <\/strong><\/span>has settle in in Waukesha, WI, near where Ryan will head back  to, and is driving school bus for a local bus company and is looking into  starting classes soon at the local community college.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Me<\/strong><\/span>? As I&#8217;ve mentioned before, I&#8217;m  keeping busy.\u00a0 :- )\u00a0 We&#8217;ve got 17 fantastic new missionaries we&#8217;re working with  to help them be more equipped and prepared for their future ministries in  Paraguay and in tribal locations.\u00a0 Each individual has different strengths and  challenges, different abilities and areas of need.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve got the privilege of  coming along side as a Language Consultant and discipling them as we teach them  how to learn Spanish and culture, and as we encourage and disciple in spiritual  and other areas as well.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a real challenge to keep up with  emails and other correspondence.\u00a0 Beside normal stuff, two weekends ago I had  the opportunity to teach at a youth retreat and then this last Saturday I  attended a seminar with missionaries from various organizations and tribal  leaders from Paraguay and Argentina to discuss ways to most effectively share  the Gospel, see people discipled, and a strong church established in a local  indigenous setting.\u00a0 It was <span style=\"font-size: 14px\">interesting the  differences of culture among our tribal friends who were present, but all coming  back to the same central message of God&#8217;s word.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re fully into our spring weather here in the southern hemisphere.
