{"id":2,"date":"2009-08-14T16:06:42","date_gmt":"2009-08-14T20:06:42","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-06-07T16:30:41","modified_gmt":"2010-06-07T20:30:41","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/randy-wood\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Our ministry<\/strong>: \u00a0Regional Member Care Contacting New Tribes Missionaries returning to the States for their one year home assignment.<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><strong>Our goal<\/strong>:\u00a0 provide encouragement, furnish resources, and provide an opportunity to meet individually and as a family.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Our region<\/strong>: North &amp; South Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, &amp; Wisconsin.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other ministries<\/strong>: contacting Associate Missionaries, former NTM Missionaries, Missionaries in Transition, Training Alumni, Interface &amp; Assist Alumni, Missionary Kids, and folks en-route to a field for the first time.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Our hearts desire<\/strong>: to care for each missionary family, as God does, seeing them important &amp; valuable, being good stewards of that which others have invested: time, finances &amp; prayers. Being faithful to help them through transitions, joys and the tough times.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keeping ourselves equipped with seminars<\/strong>: Crisis Debriefing, Sharpening Your Interpersonal Skills, Biblical Counseling Courses, &amp; other Member Care Seminars.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>OurTravel:<\/strong><br \/>\nRegional Member Care Missions\u00a0Meetings, held in Florida.<br \/>\nNTM\u00a0Enrichment Meetings, held in Missouri<br \/>\nAnd traveling to the missionary homes: again praying, encouraging, &amp; lending a listening ear.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hosting<\/strong> families for meals or over night stays is Linda\u2019s delight. We serve approximately 150 meals a year and 24-30 families stay the night.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Teaching &amp; Facilitating<\/strong>: Randy teaches a course on Conflict Resolution at the Waukesha Bible School each year.
