Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for all your prayers for us as we traveled.\u00a0\u00a0We were able to see many of you on our trip. \u00a0 Please forgive us if we missed seeing you.\u00a0 Our trip was six weeks long.\u00a0 We drove 7,000 miles through 14 states.\u00a0 We spent three weeks in Oregon with family and three weeks on the road.\u00a0 We spent our nights between seven different homes and seven different motels.\u00a0 We were able to visit with\u00a0so many\u00a0of our family and \u00a0friends.<\/p>\n
Highlights of our trip of course was spending time with all our family and friends, being able to see the Boatnik \u00a0Parade in Grants Pass with family and going to Bryce and Zion National Parks with friends.\u00a0 We would like to send a huge THANK YOU to our family for putting together a wonderful open house for us. \u00a0There were over 75 people that came.<\/p>\n
Randy was able to share in our sending church, Redwood Country Church, in the Sunday school class and \u00a0the morning service, as well as touching base with a few other churches.<\/p>\n
I ( Linda ) am just happy to be home again. \u00a0For how long you ask? \u00a0That is always my question to Randy. \u00a0Randy traveled to Missouri in July for Regional Member Care committee meetings.\u00a0 Member\u00a0Care has grown a lot in the last 10 years and it was necessary\u00a0with all the growth to again lay out\u00a0how Member Care\u00a0has grown and what are the plans for the future.\u00a0\u00a0Randy along with the other two men on the Member Care Committee will be going to Florida the end of August to\u00a0get input from our\u00a0mission leadership and continue to\u00a0develop\u00a0what and where Member Care is going within NTM.\u00a0 \u00a0I will be staying home to help care for the grand kids. \u00a0 Which happens to be one of my favorite thing to do.<\/p>\n
Many of you know that\u00a0Randy did something to his back which sent pains down his leg\u00a0at the first of our trip.\u00a0 He\u00a0was in extreme pain for a couple of months. \u00a0He has been seeing a chiropractor which is helping but it was very slow. \u00a0His pain\u00a0level has gone down greatly, now his leg is just very weak. \u00a0 He still is not at 100% but we are encouraged.\u00a0 Thanks for your prayers.<\/p>\n
Thank YOU for your support in many different forms in our lives and our ministry as Missionaries with New Tribes Mission.\u00a0 We are full aware that we could never be here and doing the things we do without YOU.\u00a0 We do count it a privilege to serve the LORD along side of YOU.
\nWe get the opportunity to talk and visit with a lot of missionaries who serve around the world.\u00a0 We also get a lot of prayer letters from missionaries who minister around the world.\u00a0 What a privilege to hear of all that GOD is doing and how GOD is building HIS church in so many remote locations.\u00a0 New Tribes Missions works\u00a0in many isolated locations and with Men, Women and Children who have never heard about JESUS in their language.\u00a0 We are constantly reminded and want you to know as well that the Gospel is going forth and we are seeing new brothers and sisters in Christ added to the Body of Christ.\u00a0 Thank YOU for being a part of seeing these people reached and now they too are Praising the LORD along with each of us.<\/p>\n
