Isaiah 9:6:\u00a0“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”<\/i><\/p>\n
We do pray that each of you will have a\u00a0WONDERFUL\u00a0 CHRISTMAS<\/i><\/b>.\u00a0 We are reminded as we read this verse of how much we have because of the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Over this past year we have seen Him be\u00a0Wonderful<\/b>\u00a0in all the ways He has not only worked in us but through us.\u00a0 We have seen Him be the\u00a0Counselor<\/b>\u00a0as He has taught us, changed us and always been there for us to talk to.\u00a0 We have seen Him be a\u00a0Mighty God<\/b>\u00a0as He has never left us nor forsaken us and has always been faithful in every situation.\u00a0 We have seen the\u00a0Everlasting Father<\/b>\u00a0who is the same yesterday today and forever.\u00a0 And we have seen Him the\u00a0Prince of Peace<\/b>\u00a0as we live in a world of turmoil and uncertainty.
\nWe do thank God for sending His Son, Jesus to be born and to live a perfect life and then suffer on the cross for our sins. \u00a0 All of this, that we can have a relationship with HIM the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.<\/p>\n
It is hard to believe that we are just about to finish the year of 2014.\u00a0\u00a0 Yet we have seen a lot happen this past year and we have enjoyed serving the Lord\u00a0 and being a part of seeing His Name go forth right here where we live and around the world.
\nAs we now look forward to a the new year of 2015 we are already filling up the calendar with different opportunities where God has given us the privilege to serve Him.\u00a0 Thank You Lord!
\nWe do have quite a bit of traveling within the United States encouraging\u00a0 missionaries and presenting different training workshops.\u00a0 We feel so privileged to be a part of the Member Care Team for New Tribes Mission.<\/p>\n
We are so very excited that we again have the opportunity to travel\u00a0 abroad.\u00a0 A year from now, December, 2015, Randy & I, along with some of our family, (four of which are our grandchildren) and some from our church will be traveling to Paraguay, South America.<\/p>\n
Question:\u00a0 When will the trip take place?\u00a0 Answer:\u00a0 December of 2015
\nQuestion:\u00a0 What is the purpose for the trip?\u00a0 Answer:\u00a0 To encourage & refresh the Missionary families by facilitating in children’s ministries & special speaking, thus allowing each of them to participate in their annual conference for New Tribes Missionaries serving in Paraguay.\u00a0 The team will also be traveling to a Missionaries’ tribal location to see first hand a church plant.
\nQuestion:\u00a0 What can we do to be a part of the team?\u00a0 Answer:\u00a0 PRAY!\u00a0 The team will being doing fundraising through out the year.\u00a0 There will be many opportunities for you to be involved from baking to babysitting.\u00a0 Other fundraisers\u00a0 will be a Car Wash, Fun Fair, Silent Auction, Valentine\u2019s Dinner, and a Yard Sale.\u00a0 The team will also need supplies for children and gifts for Missionaries.<\/p>\n
