We enjoyed the latest Ethnos360 magazine, especially the story about a Guahibo baby girl\u00a0in Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When she was born, her father had planned to attend a believers conference.\u00a0 However, villagers feared she would get die if he left. Long story short, she did get sick. “So I was praying intensely with all my heart to the Lord, asking Him that my daughter would get well before I left, so I could confidently go to the seminar, as well as asking the Lord not to let my father chant over my daughter.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>He decided to go by faith though his daughter remained ill, and God undertook on his behalf in a special way to answer his prayer while he was gone.\u00a0You can read the story in his own words (scroll down in the article)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hardware team set up several new machines and also finished the Windows 1709 updates for the home office.  Thanks for praying!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scott served various missionaries passing through with their computers, some for leadership conference, reps conference, and a church planter in Africa, Jen Rabe.  Her house is almost finished and she plans to move into the village soon and continue language learning.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, Scott’s uncle Steve, a believer, passed in March. Thankfully, Scott and his sister were able to go up to Georgia to be with family.\u00a0 Please pray for the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I’m working out a story about the Kuman Bible translation project.\u00a0 The computer’s auto-transcription of my interview with Will Tallman is a little funny…translating Kuman as coal mine, common, or human!\u00a0 I interviewed Will about the role consultants play in Bible translation when he was in Florida proofing and finalizing the Kuman New Testament for printing. I’m excited to see how the video will come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
