Thanks for your friendship, prayers, and partnership with my ministry.\u00a0\u00a0 It was encouraging last month, as a missionary stopped through on a tour and commented they gave Awayo to their partners.\u00a0 I’m glad God has provided this video to help connect people with the vision of reaching tribal people like Awayo.<\/p>\n
I have a few prayer request to share for this month:<\/p>\n
168 Hour Film Festival
\nGod opened doors for me to participate in this Christian film festival with an Orlando team.\u00a0 This is a great opportunity to connect with professionals in the area, and gain more experience on set.\u00a0 The theme this year is the Holy Spirit, and our story is illustrating the verses Psalm 81:8-9.<\/p>\n
1. Pray that I will learn much, and be an asset to the team.\u00a0 Pray for the general video shoot to go well, and that we’lwork through any difficulties as a team.<\/p>\n
Conference in February & April<\/p>\n
Patrick, Chris, David and I will be going to a conference in Nashville this month to represent New Tribes Mission.<\/p>\n
2. Please pray for us to make great contacts here and have opportunities to promote our Reach Beyond Your World radio broadcast.<\/p>\n
Also in April, I’ll be traveling to one of my supporting churches for a woman’s retreat.<\/p>\n
3. Please pray that I will be a blessing and get to know these woman better.\u00a0 Pray that God will direct as I plan what to share.\u00a0 (I’ll be working on that this month.)<\/p>\n
Going Long<\/p>\n
Desiring to help tribal people know Christ, in 2008, I joined New Tribes Mission as an associate with a 2-4 year commitment.\u00a0 God has given me a desire to serve him through media, and lead me here to the communications department, where that passion is combined with God’s heart for reaching the lost.<\/p>\n
Lately, I have been sensing that missions is a long-term commitment for me.\u00a0 “If you want to run fast, run alone.\u00a0 If you want to run far, run with others.”\u00a0 For most effective ministry, I’d like to invite more people to partner with me.\u00a0 Going far is not something I can do alone!\u00a0 The first place to start is prayer.\u00a0 Would you pray with me on the following:<\/p>\n
4. Pray that God would connect me with people who can help with partnership development. (For instance, I need an accountability partner by the end of February.)<\/p>\n
5. Please pray that God will direct me in what little steps to take over the next 2-3 years.\u00a0 (We got a lot of great tools at a conference this month.)<\/p>\n
6. Pray that I’ll meet new contacts who are concerned for unreached people groups.<\/p>\n
