But I\u2019m thankful for God who strengthened me through the body of Christ.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One friend listened to me practice sharing\u2026and I was so glad she did!\u00a0 She encouraged me with the good stuff in the message and helped me see what didn\u2019t make sense.\u00a0 Even telling me I sounded like I was giving a book report.\u00a0 I\u2019m glad for faithful friends!<\/p>\n<p>Another friend wrote me: \u201cI&#8217;m praying for you this weekend, for sensitivity, that you can bring joy to everyone, extra general grace in everything, safe travel and peace in your heart.\u201d\u00a0 How neat to see that God did answer that prayer, as I felt peace that whole weekend.\u00a0 Though I was little nervous, God\u2019s peace was evident to me and I was relaxed.\u00a0 Praise God!<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And then I\u2019m also deeply grateful for your prayers, as I prepared and shared for the conference. \u00a0God put a couple songs on my heart early on this year, and gave me opportunity to share them at Circle Church, before singing at the retreat.\u00a0 And God also gave me the desire to go to the retreat, to get to know the ladies more, even before I was asked to speak!\u00a0 I even got to practice sitting in a living room, which is exactly how I shared at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>And, I wasn\u2019t alone in speaking either, four other people spoke that weekend, and God tied it all together with the theme \u201cLooking to Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since then, God is not done teaching me.\u00a0 Twelve ladies from my Florida church are in a short study called <a title=\"Rooted and Grounded Bible Study\" href=\"http:\/\/www.deeperroots.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cRooted and Grounded\u201d<\/a> which is also focusing on Christ!\u00a0 Our Sunday school is studying: <a title=\"by Erwin Lutzer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Getting-No-Break-Stubborn-Habit\/dp\/0781445140\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1273780358&amp;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cGetting to NO!: How to Break a Stubborn Habit (ie. Sin)\u201d<\/a> And we just had a 3-day meeting time with my dad speaking on \u201cWays In Which Believers Become Powerless.\u201d\u00a0 Please pray that I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit working in my life, and obey quickly, with intention to the truth God reveals!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you picture yourself sharing for a group of people, nerves probably play a big part in that picture.\u00a0 They do for me!
