I help with the kids while their parents learn English. By the way, how do you keep a two-year-old and a four-year-old who speak Spanish to stay in a tiny room when their mom is right outside the door? =) I have yet to find out!  Time to learn a few new phrases in Spanish&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>So after we read the first two pages (from the Spanish Lamb book) and had an 8 year old translate for us into English, one of the girls said that answered the question she always had about God&#8230;where did he come from?  It was so exciting!<\/p>\n<p>It was basically explaining Genesis 1:1 &#8220;In the beginning God&#8221; &#8211; that God was not born and he will not die.  <\/p>\n<p>Hopefully next week we will do a few more pages in the book next week and learn about angels, Satan and the first day of Creation.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntmbooks.com\/the-lamb-childrens-book-cd\" title=\"The Lamb\">The Lamb<\/a> book is a simplified version of the chronological story of the Bible for kids, found in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntmbooks.com\/firm_foundations\">Firm Foundations<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntmbooks.com\/stranger-on-the-road-to-emmaus?category_id=2\">The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tonight at ESL class we read the first two pages of The Lamb book.
