Missionary Andrew Goud wrote, “He also did not want to be married right now so that he could focus completely on the translation work as well as the Bible teaching.”<\/p>\n
And when I first arrived at New Tribes in April 2008, I realized that I was single! \u00a0It had never mattered before, and I had always thought I’d eventually get married after college. \u00a0Maybe I still will, only God knows.<\/p>\n
When I first came across this article it was so encouraging to me. \u00a0Here is a guy in the jungle who is more concerned about getting the Scriptures translated into his own language than he is about getting married. \u00a0Here is someone more concerned about being free to teach others than to get married. \u00a0[Needless to say it also appears he was not interested in this girl either! =) \u00a0]<\/p>\n
Still today, this is encouraging to me. \u00a0I have this opportunity to serve God with New Tribes<\/a>\u00a0through media, and I am thankful to be a part of reaching unreached people groups with the gospel, seeing disciples established in tribes as they grow more like Christ, and seeing lives transformed by the Word of God. I am thankful God has entrusted me with this ministry.<\/p>\n Thank you, Lord, for the example of Jesi, the\u00a0Wusuraambyan single guy, who can encourage me in America miles across the ocean and worlds apart.<\/p>\n
