{"id":528,"date":"2013-07-02T16:30:12","date_gmt":"2013-07-02T20:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/regina-sullivan\/?p=528"},"modified":"2013-07-02T16:32:10","modified_gmt":"2013-07-02T20:32:10","slug":"lifeline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/regina-rodman\/2013\/07\/02\/lifeline\/","title":{"rendered":"Lifeline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wow&#8230;After about one year of working on this project, we have finally released it, and I am so excited!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Lifeline \/\/ Ethnos360\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/I-ItLPIj14I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Last July we stayed in the guest house while on a photo trip for the NTM@work magazine. \u00a0We had the opportunity to do a video interview with <a href=\"http:\/\/pippyinthejungle.blogspot.com\/\">Philippa Brooks<\/a> (Pip!) and then after we finished that the pilot walked right in. \u00a0Of course, we had to interview him too!<\/p>\n<p>Since we didn&#8217;t visit the tribe on that trip we pulled visual images from a variety of sources: photos of Isabela from Pip and Danny, photos from a photo shoot in their village two years ago, video from NTM Aviation in the Asia Pacific region and some stock footage to help tell the story.<\/p>\n<p>The first cut we did was probably 10 minutes long with a lot more information about the believers in the tribe and how the ladies helped Pip pack and things like that. \u00a0But we didn&#8217;t really have supporting images to include that in the story. \u00a0We commissioned our composer for a 5-7 minute video in November, but it wasn&#8217;t until June that we actually had the video completed. \u00a0It just needed to sit on the shelf for a bit, and we got fresh input from a local editor Jon Strong and then cut some things out, then after a meeting added some things back in but in a shorter format than original. \u00a0Then we found a Florida colorist who was able to pull all the images together and make it all look like the same place. \u00a0That was a huge blessing for this project.<\/p>\n<p>With the final touches from the colorist and composer, we are finally releasing the video. \u00a0And apparently God has perfect timing as it is coinciding with a special grant for NTM Aviation. \u00a0After being up only one hour on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?v=10151560887473515\">New Tribes&#8217; facebook page<\/a>, we&#8217;ve had about 177 clicks (ok, two or three were me!) going to vote for New Tribes Mission.<\/p>\n<p>Aviation is<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?v=10151560887473515\">Missionary Aviation saves lives: Lifeline<\/a><\/div>\n<div>Help NTM Aviation receive a $10,000 grant from Lightspeed Aviation Foundation by voting now for New Tribes Mission:<a href=\"http:\/\/go.ntm.org\/12DTLPX\" rel=\"nofollow nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/go.ntm.org\/12DTLPX<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Aviation is such an important tool in reaching remote people groups!<\/p>\n<p>Next steps are finishing distribution. \u00a0The video is now on our members site for sharing and I&#8217;ll be getting ready to send the script to be translated into Spanish and French.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow&#8230;After about one year of working on this project, we have finally released it, and I am so excited!
