She continues\u2026 \u201cJose, Rachel and I played the part of the ladies headed to the tomb where we were very surprised to find the stone rolled away. Ok, so it was piece of plywood placed in front of the library door but all the same, it was there.\u00a0 We met the angel, Elias, who told us to go and tell the disciples \u2013 that Jesus was alive!\u00a0 So we ran in fear and then met Christ on the road \u2013 and rejoiced and talked about how He had done exactly as he said he would do!\u00a0 He had risen from the dead three days after he died!\u00a0 Then Elias taught about how God was satisfied with Christ\u2019s shed blood as the payment for our sins \u2013 that anyone who believes in Christ\u2019s work on the cross could leave Satan\u2019s canoe and climb into God\u2019s canoe \u2013 for eternity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Imi was in tears<\/strong><\/span> as she tried to talk about what Christ had done for her.\u00a0 She kept saying, <strong>\u201cIt\u2019s because of His love for us and His mercy that he was willing to die on the cross.\u00a0 He died so I don\u2019t have to go to hell.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">She, Wekot and Kayne seemed to be very clear that Christ\u2019s blood was poured out to cover their sins,<\/span> to take their place.\u00a0 Imi and I both had tears running down our face as we tried to talk through the things we had seen and heard that morning.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Dakruma boldly told me<\/strong><\/span>, as we sat there cutting her sago paste into globs, <strong>\u201cI am a child of God!\u00a0 Jesus is my punishment bearing man!\u00a0 His blood poured out so that I don\u2019t have to get the punishment for my sins!\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 She was absolutely beaming!\u00a0 She was so clear that it was only because of what Christ did that she could be in God\u2019s family now!&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Wekot very matter-of-factly told me<\/strong><\/span> that she is thinking with only one thinking about God\u2019s talk.\u00a0 <strong>\u201cI was in Satan\u2019s canoe and Jesus\u2019 blood poured out to cover my sins.\u00a0 I am thinking with only one thinking about His talk and so I am now in God\u2019s canoe.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 Her husband played the part of Christ.\u00a0 So I asked him, \u201cWhat were you thinking as you hung there on the cross?\u201d\u00a0 Noel said, <strong>\u201cI almost cried.\u00a0 Before you all started this teaching, I was in Satan\u2019s canoe.\u00a0 I have said bad things about other people, been mad, (etc.) and as I hung there, I kept thinking about how Christ bore all this pain and punishment for my sins.\u00a0 He died and his blood was poured out to cover my sins.\u00a0 I am thinking with only one thinking about that talk so I am in God\u2019s canoe now.\u201d&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Aendru was so overcome with emotion<\/strong><\/span> that he hung his head in shame as Christ hung on the cross, tears in his eyes, recognizing that Christ had shed his blood for his sins.\u00a0 He went back to his house and kept thinking about the talk, tried to sleep and couldn\u2019t.\u00a0 He got back up and read the passage again, prayed and later on, he talked to Elias.\u00a0 He couldn\u2019t hold in the excitement any longer that he was now a child of God because of Christ\u2019s shed blood.\u00a0 <strong>\u201cI\u2019m asking Him to change my mouth.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 Aendru knows that his words get him into trouble long before anything else.\u00a0 How\u2019s that for a new believer asking His Father to change what he sees as his biggest source of sin?\u00a0 Wow \u2013 what an amazing Holy Spirit that lives within us &#8211; and now within the Uriay!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>So be praying for us as we continue to meet with folks individually to see where they\u2019re at.<\/strong>\u00a0 I have lots more ladies to talk to and will continue to do so in the days ahead.\u00a0 It\u2019s been so encouraging \u2013 almost a bit surreal to hear such clear testimonies from every lady I\u2019ve talked to so far!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>How grateful Shirley and I are<\/strong> <\/span>to be able to report what God has done in bringing our new Uriay brothers and sisters into His kingdom. We cannot wait to meet them, knowing that we at NTBI and our partners\u00a0have had a part in reaching them&#8230;Lisa graduated from New Tribes Bible Institute back in the mid 90&#8217;s.\u00a0Can you imagine her excitement? Years of training and study and investing in relationships with the Uriay have paid off!
