So as you have now heard, New Tribes Mission is now Ethnos 360. The change has been met with a lot of positive feedback from many of you. Thank you for being involved in a ministry to the point where you care what is going on behind the scenes!
All around the world, rapid technological change, urbanization, and globalization have forced our organization to re-evaluate some of the assumptions that have been working for 75 years. Part of this process brought to light the fact that in many parts of the world the words “New Tribes Mission” no longer communicate who we are and what we do. We found this to be true in Thailand where our organization had decided to rename itself in order to be more relevant to the people that it served.
You can help us during this transition time by beginning to refer to our organization by its new name, sharing with others about the benefits of the new name, and by talking with us if you have any questions. Similarly, there are many resources on the Ethnos360 website that can help explain the need for the change and how it will affect you. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the layout of our blog and the website. Thank you so much for your support, love, and concern. We are grateful for your prayers as we continue to move forward training the next generation of missionaries with Ethnos 360.
