Ric and Sharon are experiencing a little “reverse culture shock” as they enjoy a short break here in the states. We picked them up from the airport and the first thing they wanted to do was go to Panera’s. After spending 27 hours in airplanes, the food tasted really good. They stared off into space as they explained the differences between life in Thailand and life here in the states. Ric was eating onion soup at Panera’s telling us about “dog jerky” in Thailand. You’ll have to ask him. You can pray for them as they adjust and look ahead toward the rigors of tribal ministry. They have worked 70 hour weeks for almost two years learning language. Just to give you an idea, Ric has already preached two sermons in Thai. Thank you God.
