(You can learn more about the Bible schools at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntbi.org\/\">www.ntbi.org<\/a>\u00a0)\u00a0\u00a0And they continue training folks, even after they are on the field with orientation and national language learning programs.\u00a0\u00a0But it doesn\u2019t stop there, there are workshops for on the field training, and for sharing knowledge about what works and what doesn\u2019t.\u00a0\u00a0And there is a good consultant program, from other people who are life-long learners, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rick-zook\/2016\/09\/28\/be-a-life-long-learner\/petxjmj0qjm1-h6psec3ikfjuqlubjrqsqqpo_bsyei\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1212\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1212 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rick-zook\/files\/2016\/09\/PEtXJmj0qjm1-H6PSec3IKfJUQlubjrQsQQpO_bSYEI-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"petxjmj0qjm1-h6psec3ikfjuqlubjrqsqqpo_bsyei\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rick-zook\/files\/2016\/09\/PEtXJmj0qjm1-H6PSec3IKfJUQlubjrQsQQpO_bSYEI-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rick-zook\/files\/2016\/09\/PEtXJmj0qjm1-H6PSec3IKfJUQlubjrQsQQpO_bSYEI-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rick-zook\/files\/2016\/09\/PEtXJmj0qjm1-H6PSec3IKfJUQlubjrQsQQpO_bSYEI-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rick-zook\/files\/2016\/09\/PEtXJmj0qjm1-H6PSec3IKfJUQlubjrQsQQpO_bSYEI.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>and walking down the same path just ahead of you.<\/p>\n<p>But, if you are going to be a missionary, it is more than the sum of your training.\u00a0\u00a0You need to have a lifelong attitude of a learner. And the best place to learn, is sitting at Jesus\u2019 feet.\u00a0\u00a0He has promised us a lifetime of opportunities to grow in our daily walk with Him, to become more like Him.\u00a0\u00a0And we can say from personal experience, we\u2019ve have many opportunities on the mission field to continue learning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Being a missionary is a job of constantly learning, constantly evaluating what you thought you knew, and looking at things in a new light, or at least a new frame of reference.
