{"id":153,"date":"2010-12-10T10:06:03","date_gmt":"2010-12-10T15:06:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rob-ellis\/?p=153"},"modified":"2010-12-10T10:06:03","modified_gmt":"2010-12-10T15:06:03","slug":"travel-costs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rob-ellis\/2010\/12\/10\/travel-costs\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel Costs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now for the fun part!!! \u00a0We want everyone to know how exceptionally, exceedingly, abundantly, awe-inspiring our God is! \u00a0The Pastor challenged the church to raise the funds to cover the cost of our tickets. \u00a0Putting it into perspective, we are expecting the tickets, taxes, baggage fees, etc, to push the cost over <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">$4,000<\/span><\/strong>. \u00a0Some of the funds had already started trickling in, we had about $1,000 before Sunday, Nov. 14th. \u00a0<strong><em><span style=\"color: #800080\">But Oh the expanse of the wisdom and love of our God! <\/span><\/em><\/strong> <strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #008000\">The congregation gave more than enough to cover the cost of our travel! \u00a0How can we do anything but praise the Lord!<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amy and I agree that the coolest part was seeing how <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">MANY<\/span><\/strong> people decided to be a part of this ministry by giving. \u00a0We actually don&#8217;t know how many people because of all the different ways that the funds came in, but it is probably around 300 or 400 people. \u00a0It really encouraged us to see<em><strong> that <\/strong><\/em>many people catching the vision of reaching people in Tanzania, wanting to be a part, and responding to God&#8217;s leading. \u00a0Another wonderful blessing we received was being able to read the sweet notes of encouragement and support written on numerous envelopes. \u00a0We were touched very deeply when we opened two envelopes that simply held <strong><em><span style=\"color: #008000\">pocket change<\/span><\/em><\/strong>. \u00a0Probably a young child who saw a need and wanted to give what they could. \u00a0I pray that someday our children will be that responsive to the needs of others. \u00a0And we pray for the Lord to bless all those that gave in order to get us to <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Tanzania<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>So, what&#8217;s next on the agenda??? \u00a0We get to pick up the phone and purchase our AIRLINE TICKETS!!!
