Well that&#8217;s what I&#8217;ve been going through lately. Remember what it was like when we were kids? We could meet someone and five minutes later be best friends. As I get older making good friends like that&nbsp;gets harder and harder.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"bigText-red\">Just a thought<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Why do we feel like we need to impress people in order for them to like us. Then, we&nbsp;think that once they get to know and understand us they will like us more.&nbsp;Sometimes that happens and sometimes it doesn&#8217;t.<\/em>&nbsp;<em>I am reminded that there is one who likes us for who we are, no matter what.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A verse that a&nbsp;teacher&nbsp;reminded me of&nbsp;in class the other day was&nbsp;2 Corinthians 5:9. It says, &quot;Therefore we also have as our ambition&#8230;to be pleasing to Him.&quot; If I make it my goal everyday to please my Creator, then won&#8217;t He fulfill my need for fellowship?
