This has been the greeting we have received from day one since our home-assignment began.\u00a0 Whether it’s been the greeting we received from our friends who picked us up when we arrived in California, friends opening their homes to us, or the churches we have shared in, we have been extremely blessed.\u00a0 One friend in California stated, “Our door has been open to you since the day you left three years ago.<\/em><\/strong>”\u00a0 Another friend in\u00a0Illinois said to us, “You always have a home in Chicago.<\/em><\/strong>”\u00a0 Another friend yet at a church in New Mexico stated, “So good to have you home with us brother and sister.<\/em><\/strong>”\u00a0 These are just a few examples of how we have been blessed from San Clemente, California to Ontario, Canada.\u00a0 Our time thus far has been short but ‘Oh so Sweet<\/em><\/strong>!\u00a0<\/p>\n

We are especially blessed since ‘HOME’ is a bit fuzzy to us these days.\u00a0 One friend stated to Cirena that it must be nice to work in her ‘home’ country.\u00a0 But with all three of her son’s in the United States along with her sister and numerous other family members, home in the Philippines just isn’t the same.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reconnecting with friends Bob & Grace Corbin in Michigan. We've not seen these friends in 15 yrs.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Just before leaving Ontario, Canada, one auntie asked “Does it still feel like home?”\u00a0 My answer was, “Of course, always.”\u00a0 But with our home church being in San Clemente, California, having another church in Linn Creek, Missouri that we called home for two years of our lives during missions training along with other’ that we have had the privilege of connecting with over the past few years, it’s good to be welcomed home by the body of Christ wherever He leads us.\u00a0 Praise be to God.<\/p>\n
