As I look at this picture, I think our Thanksgiving celebration looks pretty normal. Lots of people (though almost none related and including one Canadian) gathered together (and hiding the sweat of such gathering well; the temperature gauge on the porch where we ate go over 90 degrees) sharing food (no turkey, but the best of everything else) and giving thanks (for all things…ranging from the rolls to the hands that made the rolls to our God that provided for the rolls) on a day near the fourth Thursday in November (we only take in-country holidays so this was the weekend after). A happy Thanksgiving indeed!
