Thankfully Thankful

December 3, 2023 by Robyn Green

There was a moment as I logged in to post this, that I thought, “Should I do a thankful post? Is it just too trite?” But before I had finished signing in (and I’m in ‘merica where the internet is plenty fast), I know that I am thankful for so much and that it is good to celebrate that, even when others are too!

God continues to sustain and provide. Our family is going through a tough time, but this picture represents much of what God has done this fall. He has given all of us perseverance and joy. He has given us (more specifically my sister and brother-in-law) a beautiful baby girl that is now healthy and growing and cooing and cuddling. Despite my father not being well enough to join us for the meal, he is doing okay as a I type this. He has good doctors and is encouraged. God has raised up a community around my parents to help care for them.

And, so, along with many others, I am thankful to the Lord this month for His provision and mercy and joy. I am thankful to get to be a part of church planting efforts from afar. I am thankful for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support to do so.
