Short Month, Short Update

March 2, 2026 by Robyn Green

For as much as January seemed long, February seemed short, didn’t it? We are finishing up the third school term now. I find myself in a familiar place of striving to finish the current school year well while also planning for the next. I have had several encouraging conversations recently with teachers who are interested in serving at NCA, though it looks like any who are able to come will do so farther in the future than next school year. And some, through the paperwork process or evaluating the realities of living overseas, realize that they will not be able to serve at NCA.

Even in these that will not be able to come, I am encouraged by their willingess and by this observation from Hudson Taylor: “I am reminded of how much the cause of missions is indebted to many who are never permitted to see the mission field themselves. It may be the many who are unable to give of their substance will be surprised in the Great Day to see how much the work has been advanced by their love, their sympathy, and their prayers.”

Thank you very much for your love, sympathy, and prayers!
