The following appeal was recently shared by our Aviation department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Way back in 2013 (I’m the young one in turquoise!), but planes still serve as the key method of transportation for the mission in PNG.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t get fuel for the planes and helicopters.\u201d What dreaded words for church planters living in remote locations, depending on aviation!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time and again, the country of Papua New Guinea has faced issues with its fuel supply, and our aviation program has had to resort to expensive means of importing fuel to keep the R66 helicopters and Kodiak airplanes flying.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 43 active church planting locations \u2013 some relying solely on aviation, and all relying somewhat on aviation \u2013 and with national church leaders using aviation to continue strengthening mature groups of believers, we must provide reliable air service.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there a way to ensure a more seamless fuel supply for those taking God\u2019s Word to remote people groups in Papua New Guinea? Yes!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s the idea: We would like to bless the field of Papua New Guinea with a bulk fuel tank.  With the tank in place, our aviation department could stock up on Jet-A directly from a petroleum supplier when fuel is available, avoiding costly mark-ups and high shipping costs. Having an ample supply of fuel on hand would smooth out the fluctuations of the supply chain and keep helicopters and planes flying.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would love for the church planters in Papua New Guinea to be assured that fuel will be available when they need a flight. So, we are speaking up for them to find those of you who have a heart for reaching the remote people groups of PNG and seeing them discipled into mature and thriving groups of believers.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you would like to put some of your resources toward getting a bulk fuel tank and \u2013 to add to the blessing \u2013 filling it with its first load of fuel! We\u2019re looking at $206,325.00 to do just that.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
