Rebekah Jasmine

March 1, 2008 by

Ready to go home from the hospital.

Now we are writing from England.  We are thankful that the flight went smoothly and uneventful.  It was great to be met at the end of our journey by Craig, Claire and Ellie.  After so many, many good-byes, it has been wonderful to be saying lots of ‘hellos’ this past week.

The most special ‘hello’ was to our new little granddaughter, Rebekah Jasmine, born February 27 (the day after her sister’s 2nd birthday.)  She sure is a little gem and we are so thankful that we could be here for this wonderful occasion.  We enjoyed being the baby sitter for Ellie while her parents were in the hospital and helping out in various ways since they came home.

This coming Tuesday we will be going up to the NTM Headquarters.  The container with our belongings from the Philippines is scheduled to arrive at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.  We will see how much we can get unpacked in the following few days before we head to the Faroe Islands for a few weeks.

Thank you so much for praying for us as we said our final good byes in the Philippines and our hellos in England.  We appreciate you continuing to pray for us as we try to get as much done as possible in our new home next week; as we travel to the Faroes; our time there with Rocky’s family and wisdom in knowing when we should book tickets for Canada.
