After the chaos of packing (again!) and moving (again!) and unpacking (again!), it is really nice to feel settled in with no plans to do this again anytime in the near future!
Of course, this was a much shorter move than the one from New York. My new home is only about 15 minutes from New Tribes Mission’s USA home office where I work. Same ministry, just moving into my own home.
I’m thankful for the many hands and strong backs that made the move as smooth as a move can be. The hands that set beds up ready for that first night — and the hands that unpacked my kitchen boxes right into the cupboards.
I’m thankful that the chaos of moving has disappeared.
I’m also thankful that my son Jamie hasn’t yet disappeared — even if he may have thought it would be a wise idea to do just that!
He’s been such a huge blessing, hooking up my appliances, drilling holes to fasten my blinds up into those tough cement block walls, changing doorknobs and so forth — as well as photo-bombing some of my house pictures! Ha!
A big thanks to each of you who’ve supported me through your prayers, your words of encouragement, as well as financially. If you’re ever in the area, give me a call!
Thank you!
And here’s a BONUS ~ a video that our team recently produced. Check it out!
Imagine no one in the USA knew Christ and every state contained 60 unique people groups. Where would you begin? This is the scenario we face around the world.
