As I reflect on this past year, I\u2019m still amazed how much actually took place. Between the move to the new office, rolling out a our new name of Ethnos360, and celebrating the mission\u2019s 75th anniversary, it was a year that was full to overflowing.<\/p>\n

And then the year wrapped up with the sale of the mission\u2019s old home office. It makes me wonder what this next year will bring!<\/p>\n

Of course, I know one thing it will bring! In the new year, I will be taking a ministry trip to Africa. Prayers would be appreciated as we finalize plans, for safety during the trip and for good conversations with the missionaries and nationals alike.<\/p>\n

\"\"But right now, I\u2019m just enjoying the Christmas season. <\/span><\/p>\n

I love this time of year. My early morning coffee is spent snuggled up on the couch, the Christmas lights flickering on the tree and Christmas music playing.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a time for celebration. It\u2019s a time for parties and concerts. And it\u2019s a to spend with family and friends. <\/span><\/p>\n

But it\u2019s so much more than that.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s <\/span>not<\/i> <\/span>the external trappings that make Christmas so special. It\u2019s the reason for the season that makes all the difference. It\u2019s a celebration of the birth of my Savior. <\/span><\/p>\n

But not everyone can say that.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Last year the Iski people of Papua New Guinea couldn\u2019t say that. They didn\u2019t know the Christ-child had come to earth to save them from their sins. They didn\u2019t know the significance of Christmas.<\/span><\/p>\n

But this year it\u2019s a different story!<\/i> <\/span><\/p>\n

For the <\/span>first time, they understand what Christmas is all about: it\u2019s about the birth of their<\/i> Savior. And that is something to celebrate!<\/span><\/p>\n
