We can talk about walking by faith, but it\u2019s when the rubber meets that road that it becomes real. Missionaries Jhon and Danelvis Barrio know about faith becoming real. They tell a story from their early years ministering among the Tikuna people, a story that\u2019s a testimony to the faithfulness of God.<\/span><\/p>\n

They were out of food, but, knowing they were right where God wanted them to be, they didn\u2019t say, \u201cWell, then we\u2019re out of here!\u201d No, they prayed about it. They asked God to provide food for the following day, and not just for breakfast, but for lunch and supper as well. And then they went to bed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Morning came and with it, a knock on the door. A Tikuna man stood there, a man that they had never met before, a man who had been paddling for many hours to present them with a very large fish and two large plantains. And the story gets even better. Why? Because God had awakened this man many hours before and told him to take food to these people he had never met \u2014 to the Barrios.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s the God we serve. A God who cares about our every need. And the God that the Barrios have continued to serve.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now they are praying again, but this time for the health and life of Danelvis as she faces serious health issues. Would you pray along with them?<\/span><\/p>\n
