I had been studying the mic myself and knew that, though I should be able to reach it, they definitely hadn&#8217;t considered my being vertically-challenged when they set it up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Being the first missionary in line, I smiled, stepped forward and began my introduction. Comic relief came to the rescue. If there had been any formality before, it melted into oblivion.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<dl id=\"attachment_2960\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 191px;\">\n<dt><a href=\"http:\/\/rosierambleson.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/04\/946880_10151573952660513_1606442594_n-e1367373380916.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/rosierambleson.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/04\/946880_10151573952660513_1606442594_n-e1367373380916.jpg?w=181\" alt=\"\" width=\"181\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd>The Solution<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That was the Wednesday evening kick-off to a great five-day Missions Conference at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbcauburn.com\">Second Baptist Church<\/a>\u00a0in Auburn, NY. Workshops, a missions prayer breakfast, a carry-in dinner and more filled those five days. Opportunities to hear and to share of the work the Lord is doing around the world were plenteous&#8212;as were special times of\u00a0fellowship with the church family. It was an overall great conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sunday was the final day of the conference. As I stepped forward to begin the round of introductions once more, I noticed that care had been taken to remedy Wednesday&#8217;s problematic mic. With some humorous remarks, a mic was handed to me.
