It\u2019s been three months since my move and so much has taken place!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Here are the highlights.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

My second-story corner apartment<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

New Apartment<\/em><\/strong> –<\/em> No joke about it, I received the keys to my new apartment on April 1st. My son Jamie was a big blessing with the drive down, being the heavy-lifter with the unpacking, and putting air-conditioners in the windows. Yes, you need them in Florida. I love it!<\/p>\n

New Ministry <\/em><\/strong>– It\u2019s a perfect fit! I love heading to the office each day. For some of you, a day spent writing and editing might sound, well, tedious. Not so for me.<\/p>\n

New Church – <\/em><\/strong>Finding a new church can be a daunting task. You feel like such a newbie \u2014 and you know you can\u2019t replace<\/em> your old church family. Several months in, I\u2019m still a newbie, but feeling like I\u2019m starting to belong.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>New Homeowner – <\/em><\/strong>When I\u00a0 started looking for a house, I figured it would take a while. God had other plans. First night out I saw it. Less than a month later, I was the somewhat surprised owner of my new home. (It is rented out for roughly six months. God was in that as well.)<\/em><\/p>\n

New Empty-Nester – <\/em><\/strong>Yes, I\u2019m a new empty-nester as well. Don\u2019t tell my kids\u2014though they may be reading this\u2014but Matt and I thought the empty-nester stage could be a lot of fun! So, it\u2019s kind of anti-climatic to be doing it alone, but it\u2019s another opportunity for God to make His grace and strength so real to me. And He is. I really am just enjoying life. And that\u2019s because of Him.<\/p>\n
