\"Mex2014-1199\"<\/a>Remember that trip to Mexico I took last year? Well there was a purpose behind it. I was after interviews and background to write an article about Amelia.<\/p>\n

This story shows that where you come from doesn’t limit God. God takes us right where we’re at. He just wants a heart that will say, “Yes, Lord!”<\/p>\n

I hope you’ll be as blessed, encouraged and challenged by reading this article,\u00a0as I was in the writing of it.<\/p>\n

\"Amelia<\/a>The Joy of Yes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>mountaintop minus the grandeur<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ramshackle tin shanties jostled each other along rutted dirt lanes up and down the mountainside\u2009\u2014\u2009if one could really call them mountains. Mountains speak of grandeur and stability, but the \u201cmountains\u201d of this neighborhood were built on the trash of those more fortunate.\u00a0<\/em>…<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Mex2014-0976\"<\/a>… Tears welled in Amelia\u2019s eyes as she pondered the faithfulness of God in not only her life, but in that of her younger siblings. It was on this mountain with no grandeur that time and time again God had proven His faithfulness and His grandeur. But she hadn\u2019t always understood that.<\/em><\/p>\n
