It means I get to pull out the hoodies and sweaters. It means one of my neighbors acts like I should have a jacket on when taking a walk in the evening. I refrain from explaining that it&#8217;s really not that cold outside. It&#8217;s not anything like a New York winter.\u00a0<em>I simply love winter in Florida.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rosie-cochran\/files\/2015\/12\/boys.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-975 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/rosie-cochran\/files\/2015\/12\/boys-e1449630015954-271x300.jpg\" alt=\"boys\" width=\"271\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>But I&#8217;m heading to\u00a0the cold north for the holidays \u2014 and I&#8217;m even excited about it.\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">No, not about the cold. Not even the snow. Green Christmases work well for me. But I have missed those sons of mine and will be pleased to spend time with them \u2014 minus the one that&#8217;s farther south than I am! And then there&#8217;s the extended family and friends to see. <em>Yes, it&#8217;s all about people.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>I love that God is all about people. <\/em>You know,\u00a0there would be no need of the Christmas story if it weren&#8217;t for people. God wouldn&#8217;t have needed to send His Son if it weren&#8217;t for people. But He did. He sent Jesus to save us. Because He loves us. <em>Because He&#8217;s all about people.<\/em>\u00a0And that is something I love a whole lot more than Florida winters!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Winter in Florida.\u00a0It means the heat actually kicks on in the house.
