{"id":24,"date":"2007-06-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-06-30T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-03-18T05:39:22","modified_gmt":"2017-03-17T22:39:22","slug":"asia-pacific-here-we-come","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/ryan-beck\/2007\/06\/30\/asia-pacific-here-we-come\/","title":{"rendered":"Asia-Pacific, here we come!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/ryan-beck\/files\/2007\/06\/2229_12950.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px; margin-bottom: 5px;\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/ryan-beck\/files\/2007\/06\/2229_12950.jpg\" alt=\"Indonesia...Papua is the farthest east province, previously called Irian Jaya\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>Our church leadership has wisely suggested that we\u00a0head down to visit Asia-Pacific\u00a0before we commit to a lifetime of service there.\u00a0 We will be flying down to the eastern most province.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There\u00a0are\u00a0many things we hope to accomplish through this preliminary survey trip:<\/p>\n<p>1-Visit with New\u00a0Tribes Mission Leadership to make sure that\u00a0our partnership with them and the local church is a good fit.<\/p>\n<p>2-To\u00a0visit a couple of existing tribal works that missionaries are serving in to get a feel for the people, culture, &amp; ministry<\/p>\n<p>3-See first\u00a0hand New Tribes Mission&#8217;s National\u00a0Culture &amp; Language training center that we will be at for the first 18 months\u00a0living in country.<\/p>\n<p>Please pray for us as our trip is up and coming in less than\u00a07 days.\u00a0 We will be traveling from July 7-July 25.<\/p>\n<p>For more in depth prayer requests visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntm.org\/ryan-beck\/pray\">www.ntm.org\/ryan-beck\/pray<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The day is almost here&#8230;literally.
