Welcome to our blog. I just wanted to start off by giving a quick update on where we have been for the past four years.\u00a0\u00a0 We moved to Tulsa, OK two weeks after we graduated from New Tribes Mission’s MTC (Missionary Training Center) and started A&P (aircraft mechanic) school two weeks later.\u00a0\u00a0 The A&P school lasted 18 months, and a month after I graduated I started working on planes.\u00a0 During the time I was in school, I started flying again, after being dormant for seven years.\u00a0 I picked it up a lot faster than I thought I was going to and finished up my Instrument rating, Single & Multi Commercial license and then went on to get my Certified flight instructor certificate.\u00a0 I started working part time as a flight instructor this past summer as well as continuing to work as an A&P.<\/p>\n
In January of this year, I went out to McNeal, AZ to take NTMA’s technical evaluation.\u00a0 The TE was a week long where I flew for about an hour each day, and worked on some maintenance projects.\u00a0 It was a stressful week but NTMA accepted Chelsea and I to join NTM Aviation.\u00a0 We have become official members of New Tribes Mission and will be moving down to McNeal, AZ for our first assignment this August!\u00a0 Currently we are in the process of raising our financial support.\u00a0\u00a0 We are very excited about making some huge steps forward.\u00a0 It was been a long road to get to the point that we are now.\u00a0 Thank you for all who have been praying for us along the way.<\/p>\n
