In case you missed it on Facebook, here’s our funny video to announce our pregnancy.
So, what’s next?
Well, we are finishing out our national culture and language learning here in PNG. During our time here we have a few visits with the doctor for prenatal care. Once we are finished, we will be flying back to the states in late July or early August.
The baby is due on September 30th and then we have a lot of work to do. We will be doing all the paper work as quickly as possible to get the Social Security Card, Passport, and Visa for our new addition. Our hope is to have all this completed and come back to PNG in January, after spending the holidays with our churches, friends, and families.
Does this change anything?
For the most part, no. We are still planning on doing church planting and Bible translation amongst a language group without access to God’s word in their language. The only changes are that our first furlough will come much sooner than expected, our support level will increase slightly, and we will have our third child now instead of later.
Where will you be staying?
It looks like we will be in central Arkansas, but details are still being hashed out. Don’t you worry though, we will still be making our rounds to Fayetteville, AR and up north to visit family.
