Recently I had the amazing privilege to speak to a group of ladies that are near and dear to my heart. We spent a beautiful, sunny, breezy Saturday together in God’s Word, enjoying good fellowship, worship, and food.
Someone managed to snap this picture during one of my sessions and it spoke a sweet, strong, yet subtle whisper to my heart.
Be content to live in the background. To minister in the shadow. To allow God’s Word and His Truth to shine so bright that this is what is seen and what is in focus when others look in my direction.
As I serve, may I be keenly aware that I am His instrument, tuned for His use.
May my passion be poured into those relationships, those tasks that He has called me to, and may others see in me His love and His grace more than they see, well, me.
