Hi friends,
1300 miles, 20 hrs of driving, lots of good food, laughs and fellowship we have returned safely to Indianapolis. Thanks to Arun, Elcy and the kids for their friendship and hospitality, what wonderful Indian food and fellowship, we look forward to the next time we are with you even though it may be a while. Next time though as 1Cor 16:6 says “Perhaps I will stay with you awhile, or even spend the winter, so that you can help me on my journey, wherever I go.”
As you can see the fall / autum weather is really here now and temperatures are pretty cool for us tropical dwellers, thankfully there was no reported snow on our drive up. However we were hoping there would be some snow after we arrived for Nya to see because it will probably be three years before she see’s some for the first time; alas it wasn’t to be. We had a wonderful weekend with Immanuel Bible Chapel and are so thankful for the opportunity we had to go and share with them our heart for tribal missions amongst the unreached. We had a wonderful time taking the Sunday morning service and then later that evening some friends from the church came around to Arun and Elcy’s house for food, PNG videos, photo’s and to have a question time. We made some great new friends and we look forward to keeping up with all your news as we pray for each other over the years; please send us any prayer requests you have.
Our latest news is that we will be leaving for N. Ireland around the 3rd Nov and will be there for about a month. We will be living close to Simon’s parents which is a real blessing and look forward to visiting friends and some churches. The visa is still not granted, please pray that it is granted soon or that our UK passport comes through before our departure date. Continue to pray over the rest of the details for our return travel along with the decisions we have to make concerning tribal church planting. Thanks so much for your prayers, much love in our Saviors name, Simon
