Dear prayer partners,
We heard yesterday that Karis had a lung infection. We haven’t heard any more news concerning that bacterial infection, hopefully tomorrow.
Karis had to have some blood today as they have been taking lots from her from testing – she couldn’t produce enough – around 6 tests per day. However her stats are good, oxygen saturation is holding as they are reducing her ventilator. They may take her off her ventilator tomorrow at some point. This would be a big step!
1)Please pray they find an effective antibiotic to use to treat her lung infection . Pray the infection clears quickly.
2) Pray that if she goes off ventilator tomorrow that her lungs would respond and work harder; they have been trained on the ventilator to date, as it does some work for her.
3) Pray against other infections as she has a drain now going into her lung which is removing the fluid caused by the infection.
Thank God for His continued help and energy He is giving us daily, He is answering prayers. He continues to show the depths of His Grace that we experience constantly with us.
