Answered prayer is a wonderful thing. For a long time now Annika and I have been praying that Annika particularly could get some more storage space in her kitchen, for cups, plates and normal things like that. With moving into the tribe and building a house we didn’t have the time or money to complete our house and finish things off.<\/p>\n

God has looked after us so well and provided through the team from N. Ireland to see the kitchen of our house transformed. Annika had no drawers and only 3 cupboards under the counter before the team arrived and things were not finished off or sealed nicely. They raised money for the project and we flew all of the raw materials in.<\/p>\n

Where we are, everything pretty much has to be made by hand, all wood is cut out of big plywood sheets, and to get 2″x2″ you have to rip a 2″x4″ in half etc etc. We had a great time with the team and being with people who speak your own language with your accent, who have the same sense of humor was really refreshing!<\/p>\n

We had great times of fellowship and singing and the team rubbed shoulders with the tribal church quite a bit. The team were really encouraged by the impact the word of God is making amongst the Mengen believers. Mengen people group news >><\/a><\/p>\n

Below you will see some pics of them working and spending time in gardens and houses of the believers. We cannot express how thankful we are for the team from N.I. and all the work that was done; we hope they know that their work, support, time and encouragement is invaluable to us as we all work together see the Mengen church planted and matured.<\/p>\n
