Preparing to teach the kids at church what I had learned in the training, I was reminded…
The reason most missionaries are leaving the field is because they can’t get along with their co-workers!
Thinking back on the conversation the previous night…
“I just want to quit this ministry,” I cried.
Leading me with a question, My husband tenderly replied, “What if you were in a tribe? Would you quit then?”
With a sigh of defeat, “No… You are right we are the body of Christ and we need to learn to work together.”
I couldn’t continue preparing the lesson. “Practice what you preach!’ they say.
Going to my co-worker and friend, I first confessed my faults and the way I was feeling towards her.
Her beautiful response was, “Oh I’m so sorry you feel that way. Is there any thing that I have been doing that is making you feel that way?”
….There was lots of tears and apologies…then the confession from both, “I love you and want to learn to work with you.”
Wow! What a hard but wonderful conversation that was!

As you can see we are learning.
How wonderful it is to have a husband who encourages me to do what is right.
Thank you for your prayers. We definitely need them.
