We made it to Tahlequah, Oklahoma!

January 19, 2014 by Stephen and Amber Clement

We are staying at a Christian camp.  There are only six of us and a baby (no not our baby and no I am not pregnant yet 🙂
We are all staying in the same building.  We cook and eat together.  So far it has been quite fun….however…
We actually have work to do!   I thought I would have plenty of time to craft and read…however…
We have 2 hour language sessions every day with our consultants.  Our consultants are a couple in their eighties who have spoken Cherokee from the time they were little.  (They also speak English)  We really like them.
We have to prepare for our lesson before hand which could take up to 3 hours!
We also have to write everything we recorded in the lesson and practice it and analyze the tone and other stuff.  This can take 3 hours as well!

We are alive! We were only locked in for 5 minutes 🙂

We are staying busy!  Thanks for your prayers!

P.S.  We made a really cool maze and fort with all the bunk beds and mattresses in our room!
And the picture is our teacher looking like a shining angel because he rescued us from getting locked in the storage unit 🙂
