visit from family!!!!!

March 23, 2016 by Stephen and Amber Clement

Why is she talking to me in English? Help!

It was a huge blessing when Amber’s parents came to visit for a week.  While they were here, Heidi (Amber’s mom) would talk on and on to the Brazilians in English and they would turn to us and say Help me! It was a lot of fun having them there with us, and it was very encouraging to us.

The last few months we were having twice as many classes which was hard but good.  We had two teachers who help us one is an American, Audry, she helps us with the grammar. The other was Brazilian, Cida, who does not speak English, taught vocabulary and such. Now Cida has gone on deputation. Our language learning experience has changed again, now we will need to find others to help us. We will be able to find help but it will be different now…

This is a hard phase to be in, with the language, a lot of work with little results. On the other hand we are able to have better friends then ever before and that is good.

Please pray:
*that we learn Portugues well and quick
*that we can find a way to be usefull to those around us and in the work of the Lord

Looking forward to our Heavenly home,
Stephen, Amber and Isaque (Isaac) Clement
