His provision for our daily needs through His people,<\/p>\n<p>. . . His provision of a Savior, Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>We hope you all have a Merry Christmas with friends and family, centered on Christ.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 October &amp; November 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a great fall, filled with opportunities to share in churches and individuals, to be with our kids, and to prepare for our move\/transition to our new ministry as chaplain at The Homes of Ethnos360.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for His continued provision through you. We have been so blessed by the churches and individuals who give financially every month, along with those who have been giving toward our moving expenses and the furnishing of our new home.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that the believers in the Philippines are doing well. They are preparing for their 6<sup>th<\/sup> church anniversary in December.\u00a0 We are so encouraged to see their faithfulness.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for safety and good meetings as we hope to wrap up our travels in November.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that our kids were all able to arrange their schedules and find a weekend in November for us all to be together to celebrate Thanksgiving. We always look forward to when our whole family can be together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 August &amp; September 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a great summer! Here are some numbers:\n<ul>\n<li>11 church meetings<\/li>\n<li>3 Vacation Bible Schools<\/li>\n<li>1 wedding<\/li>\n<li>Several opportunities to share with individuals<\/li>\n<li>Numerous miles on the road, including trips to Wisconsin and New York<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for the members of Faith Bible Church in the Philippines, for unity and growth.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the encouragement we have received from churches and individuals as we transition from the Philippines to The Homes in Florida.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our kids as they all begin new chapters, and encouragement as they serve the Lord where they are.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the churches and individuals who have shared their desire to continue to partner with us. Also, the Lord has provided many of our needs through people who have purchased items off our Amazon registry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; January &amp; February 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the many activities of December, including, the Faith Bible Church 5<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary, Christmas evangelistic outreach for Kids\u2019 Bible Club, and a New Year\u2019s Eve celebration. Please pray that the Gospel message will be received.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the seven people who have recently expressed a desire to be baptized. Stephen and the church leaders hope to visit each of them and hopefully have a baptism very soon.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, Jonathan will be graduating from high school in March, and we will be returning to the States in May. Please pray for Jonathan as we all seek God\u2019s direction in his life back in the States.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Gerry and Boboy, the church leaders, as they teach through Romans on Sunday mornings, and for Stephen as he teaches through Revelation on Wednesday evenings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 July 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord, we are back in the Philippines, working with the believers again, and preparing for Sports Bible Camp.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the Sports Bible Camp that is being hosted during the last week of July. Over 100 teens will be attending this camp and just about all the believers will be helping.\u00a0 Especially pray for clear message of the Gospel and that many will be saved.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the team coming to the Philippines from the States to help us host Sports Bible Camp.\u00a0 Please pray for their health, safety, and changed lives.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for guidance to know how to encourage and equip the believers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 May &amp; June 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord, Rebekah graduated from college! Now, she is off to a Christian camp for the summer, helping as a counselor.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for Ginger\u2019s family. Her mom went Home in April and is now with her Lord.\u00a0 And just this past week, it has been confirmed that her dad has cancer and will hopefully begin radiation treatments soon.\u00a0 We are thankful that he has returned home from rehabilitation and is gaining strength and getting around better on his own.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, Abigail and Luke are finishing their first year of Bible college. They hope to work this summer, go to the Philippines in July for Sports Bible Camp, and then return to school in August.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we, just Stephen and Ginger, prepare to return to the Philippines in June.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Jonathan as he will be staying in Michigan to work at a Christian camp. He will be flying back to the Philippines in July with his siblings and the Sports Bible Camp team.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for the believers in the Philippines: for unity and love for one another.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 January 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Please pray with us for Ginger\u2019s mom, Sue, who recently discovered she has cancer, again. With lots of prayer, we have decided to return to the States ahead of schedule so we can be with Sue and assist her in any way.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a wonderful outreach at Faith Bible Church to the elementary school students and teachers in December. Please pray that the seeds of the Gospel will be received.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we prepare as many lessons as possible for Youth Group and Sunday Morning Worship prior to our departure.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our current leaders. We had hoped to add leadership to the church, but at this time we, along with the church leaders, do not see any other qualified men.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord as we prepare for another Sports Bible Camp. This camp will be in July, after our return, and we look forward to a team coming from Michigan to help us.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 December 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a wonderful time with Stephen\u2019s siblings here in the Philippines. Thank you for praying for their safety during their time in the Philippines and their travels.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for an evangelistic outreach we are planning for the elementary students in our location. The principal of the school seemed very receptive to our invitation, and she chose the date for the event to take place at our church.\u00a0 Please pray that the message will be clear and also received by all.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for leadership in the local church and for unity among the elders and the people. We are currently looking for qualified men to become our first deacons.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 November 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord that we have moved back into the village, unpacked the house, rewired the dryer (a rat ate the wires), replaced a leaking faucet, and now we are back into our daily routine.\u00a0 So much more we can say, but to say the least, a missionary needs to be prepared for anything.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the visitors that will be arriving soon. Stephen\u2019s three siblings will be coming and celebrating Thanksgiving with us and Stephen\u2019s parents, who work with us in the village.\u00a0 This will be the first time we are all together in 13 years.\u00a0 Please pray for their safety.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we continue to assess where the church is at here in the Philippines. Above all please pray for tender hearts, love for one another, and unity amongst the believers, all for God\u2019s glory and for their testimony and growth.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 October 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for safe and uneventful travel back to the Philippines.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our family as we are once again separated physically, but so thankful that we can keep in touch via email.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we assess where the believers and the church as a body are.\u00a0 There are a few items we need to discuss with them, and we are seeking the Lord for discernment on how to do this.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 August 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a wonderful trip in July to the West Coast and the opportunity to see many of our friends, family, and supporters.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our kids as they \u201cgo back to school.\u201d Jonathan will begin his junior year of high school on July 31<sup>st<\/sup>, Luke and Abigail will start at Ethnos360 Bible Institute in Wisconsin on August 21<sup>st<\/sup>, and Rebekah will begin her final year at Grace Christian University on August 28<sup>th<\/sup>. \u00a0Along with school, we ask you to pray for Rebekah, Abigail, and Luke as they look for jobs and balance school with work.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that news from the Philippines is good. Please pray as the church leaders, and maybe a few others, will be attending a two-week Christian Training Camp this month.\u00a0 Please pray for safety and spiritual growth.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Ginger\u2019s mom. She had a hysterectomy at the end of July and will likely need some radiation treatments also.\u00a0 Please pray for her strength and recovery.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as we begin to prepare for our return to the Philippines in October.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 June &amp; July 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for our safe arrival back to the States and for time with our daughters again.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for all those who attended Luke\u2019s Open House and\/or sent him cards. Through His people, God has provided for Luke to acquire both a used vehicle and a guitar.\u00a0 He enjoys both of them.\u00a0 Thank you!<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our travels and meetings in June and July. In June, we will be in Missouri for MK retreats for our kids.\u00a0 And in July, we will be on a road trip to Oregon and Washington states.\u00a0 We will only be in Oregon and Washington for 16 days and we have 8 meetings planned for that time.\u00a0 Please pray for safety and for the vehicle to run smoothly.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for a few items we would like to acquire while in the States: a camera, generator, and a refrigerator.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for both Luke and Abigail as they prepare to go to Ethnos360 Bible Institute in August.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 May 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the four believers who were baptized in April.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the 70 who attended Youth Bible Camp. This was an encouraging event for the believers.\u00a0 Because 70% of the attendees were unbelievers, please pray that the message still echoes in their hearts . . . \u201cJesus is the only door.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our time in the States, that we will get Luke settled and ready for Bible School.<\/li>\n<li>Please also pray for safety as we travel around the States and share what the Lord is doing in the Philippines. Currently, we have meetings scheduled in Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, Michigan, and New York.\u00a0 This will be a very busy five months in the States.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; March &amp; April 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the work that was accomplished over the last few months.\u00a0 Together with several believers, we have finalized and printed several Bible studies for 2023 &amp; 2024, including:\u00a0 three Bible studies for ladies; lessons, verses, and crafts for Kids&#8217; Bible Club 2023\/2024; revision of the evangelistic Bible study; commentary of 1 Timothy; and lessons from Daniel.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as we as we are making final preparations for Bible Camp, April 6-8.\u00a0 This is an evangelistic outreach for singles, 12-25 years old.\u00a0 The invitation is for all &#8211; believers and unbelievers, both inside and outside of our village within a 25-miles radius.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, our boys finished another school year on March 17.\u00a0 Jonathan finished his sophomore year, and Luke has graduated from high school!<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as we make preparations for a short trip back to the States, arriving in May.\u00a0 The main purpose is to get Luke back, adjusted, and settled into Ethnos360 Bible Institute.\u00a0 We already have several meetings scheduled in Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, and New York.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for you.\u00a0 Here is our current schedule for this summer\/fall, and we hope to see many of you as we come to your area:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>July 9am, University Park Baptist Church in Portland, Oregon<\/p>\n<p>July 9pm, Home Meeting for friends and supporters in the Bonney Lake, Washington area<\/p>\n<p>July 12pm, Willamette Valley Baptist Church in Aumsville, Oregon<\/p>\n<p>July 16am, Ashland Bible Church in Ashland, Oregon<\/p>\n<p>July 16pm, Immanuel Baptist Church in Klamath Falls, Oregon<\/p>\n<p>July 18pm, Home Meeting for friends and supporters in the Roseburg, Oregon area<\/p>\n<p>July 23am, Calvary Baptist Church in Cove, Oregon<\/p>\n<p>September 12, Ethnos360 Bible Institute Chapel in Waukesha, Wisconsin<\/p>\n<p>September 17, West Somerset Baptist Church in Appleton, New York<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; November &amp; December 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the Filipino believers who partner with us in the ministries of Faith Bible Church in the Philippines.\u00a0 There is no way we could do half the ministry without their help.\u00a0 Every weekend is busy with Kids&#8217; Bible Club, Youth Group, Sunday Worship, and two Adult Bible Studies.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as we, along with the believers, get ready for December.\u00a0 December 2-3 will be the third anniversary of Faith Bible Church in their current location.\u00a0 This will be a celebration with many guests and guest speakers.\u00a0 On December 18, we hope to host a Christmas Program as an evangelistic outreach to the community.\u00a0 And throughout the month will be many other activities, including Christmas parties at the elementary school and daycare.\u00a0 These will give us opportunities to share the Gospel message.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, we received our work visas for the Philippines.<\/li>\n<li>Our mission guesthouse on the island where we live will be closing on December 31st.\u00a0 We have stayed at this facility for the last 20 years when we needed to come out of the village and purchase supplies, vehicle maintenance, and medical needs.\u00a0 We will need to find a new location that will hopefully be secure and adequate for our situation.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for you.\u00a0 Thank you for another year of praying with us and seeing God glorified here in the Philippines.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; June &amp; July 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for our safe travels back to the Philippines.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our family, especially for the boys, as we adjust to our lives back in the Philippines.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray that the Philippines will grant us work visas.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the opportunity to host Sports Bible Camp in July. This will be the first time hosting this event since 2019.\u00a0 Please pray for this event as we are planning it bigger and better than ever before.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our two daughters in the States as they continue their lives there.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 November &amp; December 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the opportunity to share in 14 churches during the last three months as well as with the students of Ethnos360 Bible Institute.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the faithfulness of the believers in the Philippines. They are currently making plans for the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Anniversary celebration of Faith Bible Church in December.\u00a0 The believers have also been invited to a celebration among the Tagbanwas at the end of November.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the ministry of Kids\u2019 Bible Club (KBC) in the Philippines. The ladies began a new year of KBC in September, but they have had to pause due to new regulations concerning COVID in the country.\u00a0 Please pray that the situation in the Philippines will improve and that KBC can continue once again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 August &amp; September 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord, for a wonderful summer, full of activities for the whole family.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for safety, good health, and wonderful fellowship as we travel almost every Sunday to share with churches in Michigan. Our schedule is on the blog under the caption:\u00a0 \u201cComing to an area near you.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for two new evangelistic Bible studies in the village. Please pray for faithfulness and fruit.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, Abigail has acquired a part-time job and a vehicle. This is a good start to getting her settled in Michigan.\u00a0 Please pray for wisdom and guidance as we look for a place for her to live.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 May &amp; June 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord, Stephen and the believers were able to complete a guide to First Corinthians in March. Please pray for Boboy and Gerry as they now teach through these lessons during our absence.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, we made it back to the States and have completed our quarantine.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our kids as they jump into activities. Abigail will be going with a group to Virginia to help clean and prepare a camp for the summer season.\u00a0 Luke will be taking driver\u2019s training.\u00a0 Both of them will be also attending an MK Retreat in June.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for news from the village. Attendance in the weekly Girl\u2019s Bible Study has surpassed the number of books we prepared and left in the village.\u00a0 Ginger has sent them the file via Facebook and hopefully the believers will be able to get more copies made.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our family as we adjust to Michigan\u2019s \u201cnew normal.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 March &amp; April 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord!\u00a0 We have purchased our international tickets to return to the States toward the end of April. Please pray for all the forms we need to travel both domestically in the Philippines and internationally.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for 19 single girls in our village who made commitments to follow God\u2019s Word and live pure for Him.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Gerry and Boboy, our two church leaders along with Stephen. Especially pray for them as they continue to lead the church during our year-long home assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the completion of the lessons for 1 Corinthians. We need to finalize this project by March 19, hopefully sooner.\u00a0 Gerry and Boboy will teach these lessons during our home assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the Youth Bible Camp outreach during March.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as we prepare to return to the States.\u00a0 Since our village has had no cases of Covid (Praise the Lord!) and the island has not had many, we have had a pretty sheltered life, and will have even more adjustments than usual when we return to Michigan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 January &amp; February 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a wonderful anniversary of Faith Bible Church in December 2020. The believers were greatly encouraged through this event.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the Christmas outreach in the village. Almost 200 families in the village received a gift from Faith Bible Church.\u00a0 Please pray that these families will also have open hearts to receive the gift of salvation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our family as we begin to make plans to return to the States in May. Lord willing, we will be able to see many of you during this delayed Home Assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the many kids and parents that hear the Good News every week through Kid\u2019s Bible Club. This ministry will finish the year in February.\u00a0 Not only have many kids memorized verses, but their moms and siblings have also.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we consider different men in the church to take on ministry roles during our absence from them while on Home Assignment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 December 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for His faithfulness.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> year anniversary of Faith Bible Church in their new building. We look forward to a weekend of celebration on December 5 &amp; 6 and hope this will be great encouragement to the believers.\u00a0 The believers decided to reach out to the Tagbanwas (another ethnic group on the island) to see if any of their church leaders would like to come and encourage them from God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 At this time, we believe seven Tagbanwas, including two teachers, will be joining us for this celebration.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the Christmas outreach. We, along with the believers, will be caroling throughout the village and giving away gifts (coffee mug with the church name &amp; logo, Christmas Gospel Tract, and instant coffee).\u00a0 Lord willing, we will give away 200 gifts over several nights of caroling.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Thank you for praying for our visa situation. We were unable to go to Manila in October to apply for new visas.\u00a0 As of this time, our office personnel is now recommending that we remain on our tourist visa until our return to the States in May.\u00a0 So at this time, that is our plan.\u00a0 We greatly appreciate all your prayers concerning this situation.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, our kids are doing well. Each one of them also are thankful for the opportunity to be here in the Philippines.\u00a0 And Rebekah is doing well also, enjoying a seasonal job at a craft store in Michigan.\u00a0 Please remember them in your prayers.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 October &amp; November 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the four attendees of a recent evangelistic Bible study who have expressed faith in Jesus Christ! Please pray that they will desire to serve the Lord and follow Him in obedience to His Word.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for a new evangelistic outreach that has already started as a result of the one that was just finished. A young couple attended the last few lessons of the Bible study that just ended, and are now being taught in their own home, from the beginning.\u00a0 This Bible study is being led by the believers, who are excited to see fruit.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, last month we started up a new year of Kid\u2019s Bible Club. Instead of gathering the kids together at the church building, we have developed a new 30-week curriculum that the teachers teach at each of the homes of the kids.\u00a0 This has been a great opportunity, and several kids and one mother have now been faithfully attending Sunday morning service.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as we need to apply for new visas here in the Philippines. At this time, we were planning on going to Manila in October to apply.\u00a0 However, we recently learned that some paperwork is lacking.\u00a0 So, we are now waiting word (which might still come any day) and will proceed with this trip once all the paperwork is available.\u00a0 This trip will involve quarantine time and traveling to areas that are high risk areas here in the Philippines.\u00a0 We greatly appreciate your prayers.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, our kids are doing well. Abigail has been able to launch her business in the States from the Philippines and is looking forward to getting her own website set up soon.\u00a0 Luke and Jonathan have enjoyed making Legos (with the quarantine) and playing in the new treehouse built in our yard.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 June &amp; July 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for His provisions during this quarantine period. The island we live on is now under a \u201cModified General Community Quarantine\u201d which does allow our family to get supplies and see our dentist.\u00a0 Under this quarantine, everyone must still wear face masks in public and observe social distancing.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, Ginger was able to use the month of May to prepare for this year\u2019s schooling of the boys. They have already begun a new school year with the hopes that we will return to the States after this school year.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord, on June 7 the believers once again met for church service after 10 weeks of quarantine. Everyone was glad to be back together, even with face masks, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and social distancing.\u00a0 Even Stephen wears a face mask while teaching from God\u2019s Word.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for wisdom for us and for the believers as we seek how to minister to the people around us. As of this time, it looks like we will not be able to resume youth group or Kid\u2019s Bible Club until January.\u00a0 Also, Sports Bible Camp, which was scheduled for last May, was canceled with a possibility to host it this coming December.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our family as we decided to remain in the Philippines for another year. This was not an easy decision for our family.\u00a0 God did give us peace when we made the decision last May.\u00a0 We had tickets to fly to Manila a few days ago, but little did we know in May that domestic flights would still be grounded in our area at this time. \u00a0As the time of our scheduled departure comes and goes, our emotions are up and down.\u00a0 We are thankful that we are here, but a bit sad that we are not yet returning to the States.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 March &amp; April 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord that Ginger is doing much better.<\/li>\n<li>Please be praying for the believers who will be attending the Christian Training Camp in April. It is very misleading to call this a \u201ccamp\u201d.\u00a0 Along with fellowship with other believers on the island, they will attend up to eight hours of Bible classes every day for 10 days.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the situation with the coronavirus. We have several events planned in May and June: Sports Bible Camp; Team from Ethnos360 Bible Institute.\u00a0 As of this time, we are making preparations for these events, but there is a good chance one or even both might be cancelled due to the virus.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our flight back to the States in June. As of this time, one of our layovers is in a country that has been affected by the coronavirus, resulting in the possible need for us to be quarantine for 14 days after our arrival to the States.\u00a0 So, we are trying to communicate with our travel agent to see if we can reroute for a small fee or if we need to rebook the whole flight.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 January &amp; February 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord that we were able to get Ginger to medical help in early December which was able to reduce the headaches and numbness she was experiencing.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for Ginger&#8217;s recovery and for the family to find ways to assist her.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the church dedication on December 7.\u00a0 We were excited to see over 200 visitors, including believers from three other Ethnos360 works.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a wonderful Christmas Program on December 22 by the believers and the children of the village.\u00a0 Over 100 families attended this event.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for visitors who have attended Sunday services over the last few weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the leaders of Faith Bible Church as they teach through the book of Galatians during the first half of 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our family and ministry as we start to prepare for our upcoming Home Assignment that begins this summer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 October &amp; November 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the recent baptism of five believers.\u00a0 Please pray for them as they grow in the Lord.<\/li>\n<li>Lord willing, the new church building will be finished by the end of October.\u00a0 Please pray that permits will be quickly obtained for the dedication on December 7.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we will be going to Papua New Guinea in October to visit Ginger&#8217;s family.\u00a0 This will be a rare occasion when her whole family is together.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as the church family and our family are preparing for the church dedication and a Christmas program.\u00a0 We are hoping that both of these events in December will be an opportunity to reach out to others in the village.<\/li>\n<li>Thank you for praying for the new series Stephen is teaching.\u00a0 This series is taking longer than expected to teach, but it is a great opportunity for the believers to dig into their Bibles and to defend their faith.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 July &amp; August 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the believers who attended the Christian Training Camp in April. They had a wonderful time, grew in the Lord, and returned to the village excited to serve the Lord.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the kick-off of both Youth Group and Kids\u2019 Bible Club (KBC) in May. Both are going well.\u00a0 We are excited to have Boboy partner with Stephen in leading the Youth Group and many ladies who are helping Ginger in KBC.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Stephen as he has begun a new series. Hopefully, the believers will be encouraged and prepared to face those who don\u2019t follow the clear teaching of the Bible.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for progress on the new church building and safety for the workers.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Stephen as he desires to begin developing lessons for First Corinthians. Please pray that the teachers will help in the preparation and be good examples to the other believers in word and in deed.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that Ginger and kids have started a new school year.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 April &amp; May 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Please pray for nine of our believers (including two leaders and their wives) who are attending a 2-week \u201cChristian Training Camp\u201d in April. This camp is a 9-hour trip by public transportation from our village.\u00a0 Please pray that these believers will be encouraged and challenged to live for Christ in their words and actions, within and without the church family.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for continued progress on the new church building for Faith Bible Church. Lord willing, all the walls will be up, and the cement beams poured by the first week of May.\u00a0 Then the trusses and roof can be installed in June and July.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our Sports Bible Camp, which will be hosted in May. We have 69 teens registered.\u00a0 The theme of the camp will be \u201cThe Choice\u201d.\u00a0 Please pray that these teens will make the \u201cchoice\u201d to believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior.<\/li>\n<li>We continue to praise the Lord for our new vehicle and for all those who helped provide as vessels of God.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the nine people coming over from our home church in Michigan to assist us in our Sports Bible Camp.<\/li>\n<li>Please also pray as we kick-off in May the restart of Youth Group and Kid\u2019s Bible Club. It will be difficult for our children to leave behind their friends, for all of us to leave behind Rebekah, and for Rebekah to be left behind!<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for Ginger\u2019s parents who are providing a home for Rebekah while she attends Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We hear faithful attendance has declined in our absence, and it is our desire to encourage the body of Christ and plant them firmly in Jesus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 November &amp; December 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for continued progress in obtaining the land title for the new church property in the Philippines and for God\u2019s provision for the new church building. As of October, God has provided 70% of the needed funds through His people.\u00a0 Praise the Lord!<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the completion of another Evangelistic Home Bible Study in the village. Please pray that the hearers will believe and start fellowshipping with the church.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for guidance for the church leaders to know where and when to start the next Evangelistic Home Bible Study in the village.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the opportunity to share and fellowship with our churches across the country. She has been accepted to and is planning on attending Cedarville University in August.\u00a0 Ginger and Rebekah are now filling out paperwork for scholarships.\u00a0 We appreciate your prayers for Rebekah as she transitions to her home country, which is in many ways unfamiliar and full of surprises.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 October &amp; November 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>We continue to praise the Lord that Ginger\u2019s fall down our stairs last July didn\u2019t result in more serious injuries. She is still on the road to recovery and still has limited movement in her right arm.\u00a0 Please pray that she can regain full strength and use of her arm.<\/li>\n<li>Thank you for praying for Hesus, his battle with cancer, and for his family. As a result we have four Bible studies each week, each focusing on a particular age group.\u00a0 Two of these Bible studies began in July: Luke Bible Study for adults on Tuesday nights; and Kids\u2019 Bible Club on Sunday afternoons for kids ages 4-12.\u00a0 We praise the Lord for the 10 lady believers who have partnered with Ginger for the Kids\u2019 Bible Club.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for one of our believers, Hesus, and his family. In July, we was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.\u00a0 For several reasons, the family has decided not to seek any medical treatment and have accepted the fact that he is dying.\u00a0 We are excited for Hesus\u2019 testimony during these last days of his life.\u00a0 Please pray for him and his family at this difficult time.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Ginger\u2019s Mom and Aunt, who will be visiting us during the end of August and beginning of September. Forty-nine teens participated and over 13 believers helped us by being leaders and coaches.\u00a0 Fruit is already seen as our youth group has increased to 29 teens.\u00a0 Most of these teens still don\u2019t know Jesus as their Savior, so please pray for their salvation.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a good summer break for Ginger and our kids. The next school year begins on June 20.\u00a0 Please pray for all of us to be diligent and faithful in this school year.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we hope to start in July a new Kids\u2019 Bible Club learning the life of Christ. Prayer Requests \u2013 July 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the arrival of rainy season!<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for the Agutaynens and for them to have a thirst for the Good News of salvation.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that the Girl\u2019s English Bible class has come to an end.\u00a0 Several of these young ladies have expressed faith in Jesus alone.\u00a0 Please pray that these young ladies will be a light to their families.<\/li>\n<li>In July we will make a short trip to Manila to see Ginger\u2019s brother and family.\u00a0 We haven\u2019t seen them in 11 years!\u00a0 Please pray for safety during these travels.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the Agutaynen men who will be leading and teaching during the one Sunday morning worship while we are in Manila.\u00a0 This will be the first time ever they will meet on a Sunday without missionaries.\u00a0 In preparation, Stephen has already met with the three men who will be leading this Sunday worship.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 June 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>It rained today!\u00a0 Please pray for rain as our village is struggling with lack of water at this time.\u00a0 This also includes us, as our well is nearly dry.\u00a0 Today was the first time it rained in a long time.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Ginger and the kids as they continue diligently with the school year.\u00a0 They are working hard in hopes of finishing the year by October.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray also for Stephen and the Agutaynens who are helping him construct a new cement water tower.\u00a0 They need wisdom for working with the cement, and safety throughout the project.<\/li>\n<li>We look forward to a visit next month from Ginger\u2019s brother, David, and his family, as they return to their ministry in Papua New Guinea.\u00a0 We are all excited to see them as it has been 12 years since the last time we have seen them!<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for our upcoming Home Assignment.\u00a0 We hope this month to purchase one-way tickets back to the States.\u00a0 Lord willing, we will arrive to Michigan on November 5<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Our schedule is of teaching and discipleship, and for the growth of the believers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 March 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for another Home Bible study that was completed in February.\u00a0 Many have expressed faith in Christ and a few have already come on Sunday to worship.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for those who have heard the Gospel message through the Home Bible studies but haven\u2019t made a commitment yet.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that our kids will be finishing their school year around March 14.\u00a0 They have worked hard.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the Monday Night Bible study for the men.\u00a0 This is a good time to equip the men to teach His Word on Sundays.\u00a0 Usually, a Sunday involves the teaching of God\u2019s Word by one of the missionaries and at least two other believers.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Stephen as he will be attending meetings in Manila during the first week of March.\u00a0 Ginger and the kids will be staying on the island during Stephen\u2019s absence.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Abigail\u2019s check-up for her scoliosis at the end of March.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 February 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for new believers among the Agutaynens.\u00a0 Two of Stephen\u2019s Home Bible Studies came to an end in December.\u00a0 Many have professed Christ as their Savior.\u00a0 However, some are hesitant to go against their elders by stepping away from the village church and join us on Sundays for Worship.\u00a0 Please pray for these new believers to have the courage to step away and to declare their new faith amongst their neighbors and family.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the 7 believers who were baptized on January 26.\u00a0 Rejoice with us in their testimonies.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray with us concerning our upcoming Home-Assignment in the States.\u00a0 Lord willing, we will return in November for nine months.\u00a0 Please pray with us as we trust the Lord for the $12,000 we need for plane tickets.\u00a0 As of this time, we have been able to set aside $7,000 and a few individuals have given towards this need, too.\u00a0 If God puts it upon your heart to help with this financial need, you can do so by clicking on the \u201cgive\u201d tab.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for our family concerning the children\u2019s homeschooling.\u00a0 Each of our kids is unique when it comes to school.\u00a0 Rebekah rises at 4:15am with the goal of finishing school by lunch time.\u00a0 Abigail starts about 7:45 and works all day, finishing about dinner time.<\/li>\n<li>Our team has just begun a new Monday night Bible study for the men.\u00a0 Our desire is to step up discipleship through this Bible study and to give the men the opportunity to teach God\u2019s Word on Sundays.\u00a0 Our team is excited about this new Bible study.\u00a0 Please pray that the believers will likewise be excited and faithful in attendance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 October 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the wonderful job and willingness of the Agutaynen men to teach through the book of Titus with Stephen and Manfred.\u00a0 This was very encouraging and most of the men taught twice.<\/li>\n<li>Thank you again for praying for Rebekah and her braces.\u00a0 One of the biggest concerns is that her canine teeth haven\u2019t come in yet.\u00a0 She had an \u201coperation\u201d on September 23 to encourage her canines to slowly come down.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for her as this has involved quite a lot of pain and a change in her eating.\u00a0 She has lost at least 6 lbs. already.\u00a0 The dentist is hoping to remove the braces prior to our return to the States in November 2014.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for Abigail and her scoliosis.\u00a0 She has grown an inch over the last two months.\u00a0 We are hoping this growth spurt hasn\u2019t increased her curves.\u00a0 She will have her next check-up in Manila on October 24.<\/li>\n<li>With two new Bibles studies started, Stephen continues to be busy.\u00a0 Please pray for strength.<\/li>\n<li>Ginger and the kids have already completed the first 9 weeks of the school year.\u00a0 Please pray for good attitudes and diligence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 August 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for Stephen\u2019s co-teachers who continued teaching at the Home Bible Studies during Abigail\u2019s check-up in Manila. Both the teachers and the hearers were all encouraged.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we consider beginning our Home-Assignment in November 2014. \u00a0We were thinking May of 2015 but it looks like an earlier and shorter time in the States will be best as we start thinking about our kids entering college.<\/li>\n<li>Thank you for praying for Rebekah as she got braces last month.\u00a0 She still has some pain and only eats very small bites.\u00a0 We were hoping to have the braces removed before our Home-Assignment, but with an earlier return, this may not be possible anymore.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the believers who are currently teaching on Sundays through the book of Titus.\u00a0 This has been an encouragement for all.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as we are seeking the Lord concerning Stephen starting another Home Bible Study.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for our health as a family.\u00a0 Many Agutaynens and our family have been having flu-type sicknesses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 July 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for Abigail\u2019s check-up on July 2.\u00a0 The doctor was satisfied that Abigail\u2019s curves have not increased much and he has advised us to return in October for another check-up.<\/li>\n<li>Please be praying for Stephen\u2019s co-teachers who are continuing the Home Bible Studies in Stephen\u2019s short absence (for Abigail\u2019s check-up).<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the believers who are now teaching on Sundays through the book of Titus.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as the new school year will hopefully start on July 22.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for our health as a family.\u00a0 Several missionaries have recently had Dengue Fever (a mosquito born-sickness), and there have been many cases of Dengue in the areas surrounding our village.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Rebekah as she is scheduled to get braces on her teeth on July 15.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; June 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Praise the Lord for His work here among the Agutaynens.\u00a0 We continue to praise the Lord for the growth of the believers and continue to pray for more to be added to the family of God.<\/p>\n<p>2. Praise the Lord for Abigail&#8217;s faithfulness in doing her exercises every day.\u00a0 Please pray for her next appointment in Manila on July 2.<\/p>\n<p>3. Praise the Lord that the school year is drawing to an end.\u00a0 Ginger is hoping to finish up the year by June 21.<\/p>\n<p>4. Praise the Lord for the Home Bible Studies.\u00a0 Please pray as Stephen spends extra time with his Agutaynen co-teachers in June to prepare them to continue the teaching during our absence in July.\u00a0 Please pray for these men to have a passion to share God&#8217;s Word and for their faithfulness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; May 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for our time in Manila for Abigail.\u00a0 To our surprise, the doctor doesn\u2019t want to put her in a brace yet for her scoliosis, but wants to observe her first to see if her curvatures remain the same.\u00a0 So, we will need to return to Manila for a new x-ray and measurement of her curves in July.\u00a0 If her curves increase, then the doctor may order a brace.\u00a0 If not, he will probably suggest again that we wait and do another x-ray a few months later.\u00a0 Please pray that Abigail will remain faithful in her daily exercises with Stephen and that these will strengthen her back and prevent the curvatures from increasing.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that we are back in the village and continuing on with home-schooling and the home Bible studies.\u00a0 Please pray that the kids will work hard and finish the school year by the end of June.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Stephen\u2019s parents as they return to the States for a short visit to see their moms and families.\u00a0 Please pray for them as they seek God\u2019s wisdom for a new ministry in the Philippines upon their return in November.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; April 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Praise the Lord that we were able to consult with an Orthopedic doctor in Manila concerning Abigail&#8217;s scoliosis.\u00a0 At this time, we will not be putting Abigail into a back brace, but we will need to return to Manila in July for a follow-up x-ray and consultation.\u00a0 See our update on the Home page for more details: &#8220;To Brace or Not to Brace&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Please pray as we return to the village around April 20th and Stephen continues to teach the Home Bible Studies.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for a wonderful time with the Christian men as we studied the book of Titus together during the month of March.\u00a0 See our update on the Home page for more details: &#8220;Training Men&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; March 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Praise the Lord for a wonderful visit with Ginger\u2019s parents.\u00a0 The days flew by and we truly enjoyed our time together.<\/p>\n<p>2. Please pray for Abigail and the finances for her scoliosis treatment.\u00a0 We will be flying to Manila in a few weeks so a brace can be made for her back.\u00a0 Please also pray for her encouragement as the brace will be uncomfortable and make our hot climate even more so.\u00a0 Please pray that she will not develop any rashes or fungal infections as a result of having to wear the brace 23 hours a day.<\/p>\n<p>3. Praise the Lord that Rebekah and Abigail will be able to have standardized testing done at Faith Academy while we are in Manila.\u00a0 They are looking forward to attending some \u201creal\u201d classes on the days of their tests also.\u00a0 This is our annual check to make sure our homeschooling is on track.<\/p>\n<p>4. Please pray for the continued Home Bible Studies.\u00a0 Some Agutaynens are questioning their traditions and hopefully seeing they are lost without Christ.\u00a0 Please pray for open hearts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; February 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for a wonderful time with co-workers and friends during our annual field conference.\u00a0 Thank you for praying for Ginger as she oversaw the childcare program, 16 kids in all.\u00a0 Of course she had lots of help from other moms and from Australia.\u00a0 You can read more about the childcare program by clicking <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/2013\/01\/21\/childcare-at-conference\/\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Please pray for Abigail and her spine.\u00a0 In short, she has scoliosis and her spine has two curves.\u00a0 We are currently having Abigail do daily exercises and some physical therapy to strengthen her back.\u00a0 We are praying that the curves in her spine will not continue to increase.\u00a0 The big question for us is: Do we put her into a brace?\u00a0 Please pray with us for wisdom and to do what is best for her.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Praise the Lord, the audio of the Agutaynen Bible is now finished.\u00a0 We hope that the Agutaynens will be excited about this too and spend hours listening to His Word.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 We are excited that Ginger\u2019s parents will be with us during the first two weeks of February.\u00a0 Please pray for a safe and wonderful reunion.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for those who are currently attending the home Bible studies each week (Friday, Saturday &amp; Sunday).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; December 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On November 17, our first Agutaynen believer went to be with the Lord.\u00a0 Praise the Lord, Elior had a wonderful testimony among the believers and among the villagers.\u00a0 We hope and pray that many will be saved through his death and the believers will be strengthened.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the faithfulness of the Agutaynens who are attending the home Bible studies that Stephen is teaching.\u00a0 Every week 25-30 Agutaynens come to these Bible studies.\u00a0 Please pray that these Agutaynens would not just listen but also trust in Jesus alone for their salvation.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Rebekah as we have begun dental work on her teeth.\u00a0 She now has an expander that hopefully will allow her two canine teeth to come in.\u00a0 In June, we will probably need to get her braces.\u00a0 Please pray for Rebekah\u2019s adjustment to all this and for the needed finances.\u00a0 Her dentist is a three-hour drive from our village.\u00a0 So, this will also involve a few day trips to see her dentist.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Ginger as she oversees and prepares for the childcare program for our upcoming conference in January.\u00a0 This is her first time having this responsibility and there are many details that need to be worked through.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for strength, especially during the month of December.\u00a0 Like many of you, there are several social occasions that we need to attend at the schools and in the village, in addition to our regular schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; November 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for the 2-year visa extensions that we received in October.\u00a0 Thank you all for praying for this and now praise Him for providing.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Now that we know that we are staying in the Philippines, we would like to immediately begin some dental work on Rebekah and Abigail.\u00a0 Both need expanders and possibly braces.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for the 16 men and woman for were baptized in October.\u00a0 Pray for these believers to stand strong in the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Please pray for our children and Ginger as they home-school.\u00a0 Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help them learn and grow.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for the three Home Bible Studies that Stephen teaches every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.\u00a0 With this teaching schedule, Stephen works 7 days a week.\u00a0 Please pray for wisdom and strength.<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211;\u00a0September 2012<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Please pray for Ginger and our four children as they begin a new school year.\u00a0 Every year brings new challenges.\u00a0 Please pray for Abigail as she starts DVDs this school year.\u00a0 Thank you for praying for Rebekah and Abigail as they took the IOWA tests last July.\u00a0 They both did well.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for two Agutaynen homes (soon to be three) that Stephen has begun teaching the Creation to Christ lessons in.\u00a0 Please pray that they will accept the truths of each lesson and move closer to the Savior.\u00a0 Please also pray that these families will invite their neighbors and extended family members to attend these Bible studies.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Please pray for the renewal of our visas.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Please pray for the removal of warts on the bottom of Abigail and Luke&#8217;s feet.\u00a0 As way of an update, it is almost impossible to keep\u00a0duct tape on the feet of two very active kids.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; June 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0Praise the Lord for the recording of the Agutaynen New Testament.\u00a0 The recording of 25 different Agutaynen voices was finished on June 1.\u00a0 Now the recording will be sent to the States where music and sound effects will be added.\u00a0 Lord willing, the final product will be available to the Agutaynens by April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Please pray as the re-teach of\u00a0<em>Creation to Christ <\/em>in our village comes to an end this month.\u00a0 Pray that those who have come will choose Christ as their Savior.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Our kids are excited that school will end by June 22.\u00a0 For a reward, we have asked a teacher to come from Manila and give our girls the IOWA test in July.\u00a0 To say the least, they are not excited about this test.\u00a0 However, the results of this test will show us if they are progressing in their studies as they should be.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Thank you for praying for Luke and his recent doctor appointment.\u00a0 We were able to confirm that we are doing the right thing when he has breathing problems.\u00a0 So far, his breathing problems have been minor and treatable without daily medication.\u00a0 Luke has not had an &#8220;attack&#8221; for over 2 weeks now and this is a praise.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for his health and wisdom as parents.\u00a0 At this time, we still do not know what is causing these breathing problems.\u00a0 We are thankful to have found a Pedriatric Pulmonologist here on our island.\u00a0 She is only a\u00a03 hour drive from our\u00a0village, which is much closer than flying to Manila.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Currently Stephen and Manfred are in the early stages of revising our <em>Creation to Christ<\/em> Bible lessons.\u00a0 Our lessons originally were developed for a large group of 200 people.\u00a0 Now, our team wants to focus on family groups that did not come on a regular basis or didn\u2019t come at all to the teaching in the past.\u00a0 This would involve teaching these lessons in their own homes where the group will probably only be 10-15 Agutaynens.\u00a0 Our team is praying for open doors to this new approach and hoping that the Agutaynen believers will partner with us.\u00a0\u00a0 We greatly appreciate your prayers.\u00a0 Lord willing, the first (of hopefully many) home group will start in August.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 May 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Praise the Lord that, during April and May, Faith Comes by Hearing is recording the Agutaynen New Testament into an audio format.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Please pray for the many hours Stephen and Manfred will be investing in the process of working with Faith Comes by Hearing to record the Agutaynen New Testament.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Please pray for God to be glorified through the work of recording the Agutaynen New Testament.\u00a0 Please pray that many will hear God&#8217;s Word and receive Jesus as their Savior.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Continue to pray for the discipleship and growth of the young Agutaynen believers.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for continued health and strength He has given our family.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Please pray for Luke who is showing early asthma symptoms again.\u00a0 He has been sympton-free for about a year.\u00a0 We have an appointment on May 21 to see what proactive steps we can take to help him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 April 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for a wonderful language evaluation.\u00a0 God has answered your prayers and has brought Stephen to a place in the language where our leadership has given Stephen permission to teach the Bible in theAgutaynen language.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Please pray for Stephen&#8217;s continued progress in the language.\u00a0 As Stephen now moves into the role of a &#8220;Bible teacher&#8221;, he will be learning new phrases and spiritual terminology.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Please pray as Stephen is now teaching God&#8217;s Word.\u00a0 Pray that the message is clear.\u00a0 Pray that Stephen&#8217;s words will be pleasing to the Agutaynens ears.\u00a0 As Stephen moves into this new role, our partner Manfred will be observing and assisting Stephen.\u00a0 At this time, Stephen will be teaching on Tuesday nights, the Creation to Christ series.<\/p>\n<p>4. Please pray for us as we raise our children in this culture.\u00a0 We are always looking for ways to help our kids build relationships with the Agutaynens.\u00a0 Last month, we set up a volleyball court in our backyard.\u00a0 This has been a great way for Rebekah to spend time with her Agutaynen friends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 February &amp; March 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Thank you for praying for a language evaluation for Stephen.\u00a0 Two men will be coming to give Stephen a language evaluation March 2-5.\u00a0 This will be Stephen&#8217;s first language evaluation for over four years.\u00a0 Stephen has spent the last few years assisting our partner in the development of Bible lessons.\u00a0 However, Stephen has never formally finished language study.\u00a0 So that is why Stephen is at it again.\u00a0 Please pray: 1. encouragement.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a wonderful Christmas with Agutaynen believers, our partners and with Stephen\u2019s folks.<\/li>\n<li>This month begins with our annual get-together of NTM missionaries.\u00a0 Please pray that this time will be refreshing and an encouragement to everyone in our family.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Language Consultants for the Philippines and pray for a language check for Stephen.\u00a0 At this time we desire to know where Stephen is at in the Agutaynen language and guidance as he continues on.\u00a0 However, our field at this time, has no Language Consultants.\u00a0 Please pray.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our children\u2019s physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.\u00a0 As parents, we are looking to the Lord for daily wisdom concerning their individual needs and struggles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 December 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Our family is excited that the Christmas Season is finally here.\u00a0 We look forward to celebrating Christmas at home as a family.\u00a0 And then around the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of December, we will visit Stephen\u2019s folks, who are missionaries also in the Philippines, and celebrate Christmas with them.<\/li>\n<li>December is a busy month with many village activities.\u00a0 Please pray that we will be able to remind the Agutaynens of the true meaning of Christmas during these weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that our health is good.\u00a0 Last month was a month of passing the flu from one person to another.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as Stephen continues his language study.\u00a0 Please pray for quick comprehension, fluency of speech, and wisdom for direction.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 November 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for the Agutaynens who continue to come to the Bible teaching.\u00a0 Please pray that their hearts will be open to receive the truths found in God&#8217;s Word.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for Stephen&#8217;s language study, especially for encouragement.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that our children have settled back into life in the Philippines.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for our health as a family.\u00a0 Several of us have had flu-type symptoms this past month.<\/li>\n<li>Please continue to pray for Ginger as she home schools our four children.\u00a0 Please pray that God gives her wisdom and strength.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 October 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord that our partners have returned from Germany and have resumed Bible teaching among the Agutaynens.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that Stephen has found five new Agutaynens to help him in his continued language studies.\u00a0 Please pray that these Agutaynens will be faithful in attendance and in correcting\/encouraging Stephen\u2019s language.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for Ginger as she home schools our four children.\u00a0 Please pray that God gives her wisdom and strength.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests \u2013 September 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Praise the Lord for a wonderful mini-conference last month.\u00a0 We were encouraged, had a great time of fellowship with co-workers, and received some guidance for Stephen\u2019s continued language study.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord for our family\u2019s move back into the village on August 17.\u00a0 We are mostly settled back into our home.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray as Stephen resumes his language study.\u00a0 We are trusting the Lord for His strength, encouragement, and guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Praise the Lord that Luke continues to be healthy and has had no signs of asthma.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for the Agutaynens and God\u2019s working in their hearts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; August 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for a new vehicle and its arrival to our island.<br \/>2.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for Stephen and Rebekah\u2019s trip into the village during the first week of August to clean and repair our home.<br \/>3.\u00a0 Please pray as we make final preparations for our family\u2019s soon return to the village.<br \/>4.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for how our family is readjusting to life in the Philippines.<br \/>5.\u00a0 Please pray for encouragement and guidance as we attend a mini-conference this week with our fellow missionaries and leadership.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; July 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Praise the Lord for a safe flight to the Philippines.\u00a0 All 12 suitcases and 4 children arrived with us into Manila.<\/p>\n<p>2. Pray for our continued need for a vehicle.\u00a0 As of this time, we have not found any vehicle that will meet our needs.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for our search and for any extra funds we still need as the dollar is weak at this time.<\/p>\n<p>3. Praise the Lord for our kids feeling at &#8220;home&#8221; back in the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>4. Pray for Stephen&#8217;s trip into the village this month to clean and prepare our home for the family&#8217;s return in August.<\/p>\n<p>5. Praise the Lord for a quick adjustment for our family to the time zone here in the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>6. Praise the Lord for doctor visits this past week and their results.\u00a0 Luke was tested for 48 local allergens and tested negative for all of those, including mold.<\/p>\n<p>7. Please pray as we discovered this past week that Abigail has a minor case of scoliosis.\u00a0 At this time, she doesn&#8217;t need any treatment.\u00a0 Please pray as we will continue to monitor this as she grows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise and Prayer Requests &#8211; June 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Praise the Lord for a wonderful Home-Assignment and for all the wonderful opportunities to share God&#8217;s work among the Agutaynens.<\/p>\n<p>2. Please be praying for our children (and for us too), as good-byes are harder since we&#8217;ve made friends in the States.<\/p>\n<p>3. Praise the Lord for the wonderful memories our kids have made in the States.<\/p>\n<p>4. Please pray for us as we prepare to return to the Philippines on June 29.<\/p>\n<p>5.
