Our house during the storm<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The sky is gray, adding a gloomy look outside.\u00a0 The wind is very strong.\u00a0 The tops of the trees sway back and forth with the wind.\u00a0 Now and then coconut branches are broken off the trees.\u00a0 The wind reminds me of the crashes of waves on the beach during the storm.\u00a0 God has kept the trees from falling on our house and not letting the wind strip the solar panels off our roof.<\/p>\n

The volleyball court is strewn with old coconut branches and leaves.\u00a0 The wind makes the bamboo leaves look like they are dancing.\u00a0 The wind stops for a moment like a person stops to get a breath and then blows out again with a big huff. Then all is calm again.\u00a0 This happens again and again.<\/p>\n

The storm is now slowly cooling down but there is still rain and wind.\u00a0 After the storm, I finally went outside and surveyed the scene.\u00a0 Our yard is covered with leaves and branches.\u00a0 As I look around the village, the scene is the same.\u00a0 Dad took a walk around the village yesterday.\u00a0 Many homes that had thatched roofs were damaged.\u00a0 Many rice fields no longer have rice.\u00a0 But thankfully no one was hurt seriously.\u00a0 Thank you, Lord, for helping us weather this storm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
