{"id":12,"date":"2007-10-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-10-19T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-10-19T01:28:54","modified_gmt":"2007-10-19T05:28:54","slug":"the-price-of-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/2007\/10\/19\/the-price-of-life\/","title":{"rendered":"The Price of Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2007\/10\/1242_25479.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/stephen-jordan\/files\/2007\/10\/1242_25479.jpg\" alt=\"Arnel`s Gravesite\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>One Saturday, Stephen was summoned to take a young man to the hospital.&nbsp; When Stephen arrived on the scene, there was still a group of people frantically digging.&nbsp; Earlier in the day, three men were digging a hole, trying to find scrap metal.&nbsp; The metal can be sold in town.&nbsp; The hole caved in and all three men were buried.&nbsp; Two had already been rescued when Stephen arrived, and the other was still buried.&nbsp; When the young man, Arnel, was finally unburied, Stephen rushed him to the nearest hospital, about a ten-minute drive at emergency speed.&nbsp; He was pronounced dead on arrival.&nbsp; The price Arnel paid was far higher than any money they had hoped to gain.&nbsp; How sad!&nbsp; And sadder still is our knowledge that he is probably spending his eternity separated from God.&nbsp; How our hearts continue to long for the day when our Agutaynen friends have the chance to hear about God&#8217;s gift of His Son!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How much is a life worth?
