It has been our goal, as our girls get older, to have a special time each year for just Mom and daughters.\u00a0 \"\"<\/a>This year, we decided to have our girls\u2019 day while we were in Manila, a few days after Abigail\u2019s check-up.<\/p>\n

Grandma Jordan had just returned to the country after a short furlough, so we decided to include her in our girls\u2019 day also.\u00a0 Since Rebekah and Abigail are so different from each other, we wanted to do something that they each would like.<\/p>\n

We started by going to the hair place, where Grandma had her hair done while the rest of us had our nails done.\u00a0 This was Abigail\u2019s treat.\u00a0 She was surprised that it was only the second time in Mom\u2019s life that I have had my nails done (the first time was before my wedding, years ago).\u00a0 After treating Abigail to her nails, we went to a used bookstore.\u00a0 This was Rebekah\u2019s treat.\u00a0 She found several books for about a dollar each, so everyone was happy.\u00a0 Mom and Grandma enjoyed our girl time, and the girls each enjoyed a treat.\u00a0 We also shared some ice cream shakes, which even the girls both like.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are thankful that Abigail\u2019s doctor appointment went well, and her curves have even shown a bit of improvement.\u00a0 She is happy to still be brace-free.\u00a0 Thank you for praying for our trip to Manila, and rejoicing with us for the good doctor report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
