If this storm was in the States, reporters say that it would have stretched from New York to Florida.\u00a0 Wind and rain poured down in our village, but no one was hurt.\u00a0 This storm was powerful but our God is almighty.\u00a0 The weather changed but our God didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, after the storm, we still experienced more rain.\u00a0 Our three youngest children enjoyed splashing and diving in the large puddles created by the torrential rains.\u00a0 Our thanks go to God for His protection and for all those in the States who were praying.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the sun is once again out and a nice breeze is blowing through the palm branches.\u00a0 God hasn\u2019t given us tomorrow yet; so today, let\u2019s praise Him and proclaim His glories to all we see.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From one day to the next, everything changed.\u00a0 Thursday was a beautiful sunny day here in the Philippines.\u00a0 And then Friday blew in with wind and rain as the super typhoon made landfall.
