\u201cA penny for your thoughts.\u201d\u00a0 These days, our thoughts are here and over there.\u00a0 We are trying to make the most of our remaining days here in the States, yet preparing for our return to the Philippines.\u00a0 Our time in the States is quickly coming to an end.\u00a0 We are no longer counting months or weeks until our departure\/return to the Philippines, but counting now in days and hours.<\/p>\n

We have had a great time in the States . . . sharing with you our partners . . . visiting family . . . checking out colleges . . . enjoying sights, sounds, and tastes of America.\u00a0 To help us remember our travels across the States visiting churches, we have collected souvenir pennies along the way.\u00a0 Check out these pennies and see where we have been.<\/p>\n

This past week, our family participated in our church\u2019s VBS.\u00a0 This was a highlight for our kids as they learned verses and their team won the team competition.<\/p>\n

5K Run, Grandpa, Luke and Stephen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Also this past week, Stephen\u2019s folks stopped by for a short visit.\u00a0 We started their visit with a 5k run for Luke, Stephen, and Grandpa Jordan.\u00a0 Then we tried to catch a foul ball while attending a Whitecaps baseball game.\u00a0 Our time came to an end by touring the USS Silverside submarine docked on Lake Michigan.<\/p>\n
